This is responsible for the warm air thats here so its really pulling up the warm temperature from the south and were going to continue with the wind direction tomorrow so still a warm day if not warmer than today. Currently were dry, the closest rain is pretty far off to our west in western p. A. , its light rain, if anything maybe a few light showers overnight tonight. But the real rain and thunderstorms, thats farther to the west through the middle part of the country, moving through the midwest and that will be here as we go into tomorrow. So now were looking at friday morning, scattered showers around for the morning commute. Police now say they have tied Carlton Hicks to eight armed robberies, his brother ramon allegedly committed nine armed robberies. The two are held for killing Sergeant Robert wilson iii last year. It was march 5 when wilson was picking up a gift for his son. Police say the two brothers walked in, allegedly announced a robbery and shot and killed wilson. Nate senior was a hoops coach and chriss mom felt the brits would provide a more stable environment for him. It was tough at first but you know, the brits, they accepted me and the whole family just made me feel so welcome and they accepted me for who i was, and elevated me as a person and made me better. And its something that im always thankful for. I thank god for it every day. I cant imagine, had to be extremely hard on him but i think he adapted pretty well. The bros became basketball bffs. The clouds keep increasing, overnight maybe showers and heres the morning commute. 7 00, 8 00 in the morning dealing with spotty showers around, cant rule out a thunderstorm developing either. Temperatures around 70 degrees for the morning commute. By lunch time tomorrow, temperatures in about mid70s, some areas if the we get a good enough break in the cloud cover could jump up to the upper 70s, and by 1 00 p. M. Still seeing potentially a line of showers and thunderstorms moving in. Same thing as we go into the afternoon. 4 00 p. M. , we could have another line developing and moving through, so keep your umbrella with you as we go through the whole day but it is going to stay fairly warm. Even by 8 00 tomorrow evening were not going to get that colder air in yet. We should still be around 70 degrees. We go into the weekend and some of this rain we do expect to be lingering saturday morning through new jersey and delaware. We could have a wave up from the south. Thats when well see the cooler air also here. So by the Early Morning hours well be around the 40s and 50s with the rain, by 9 00 a. M. , still looking at showers, mostly south of philadelphia. Then we go through saturday afternoon, a little bit better as far as clearing up. But temperatures will be noticeably cooler. We will be getting cooler again going into the weekend but the 70s are still going to be with us through the day tomorrow. Some areas going to be in the upper 70s. Look at the dropoff into sunday. So thats the colder air i was telling you about. Aside from 60s for a high saturday, sunday will be down in the 40s. Tonight though, mild and windy, a chance of a late shower which would mostly be overnight tonight. 62 for the low in philadelphia, 57 degrees, areas north and west.
