This just in. A judge says a criminal complaint against new Jersey Governor Chris Christie over the bridgegate scandal can move forward. The complaint accuses the governor of failing to stop the subordinates from intentionally creating traffic jams. Christie has denied knowledge of the scheme until weeks or months later. Fire officials tell me a man was actually standing on the roof in need of rescue when they got here this morning. That was around 5 00. Firefighters used a ladder to rescue that man. Were told hes in stable condition and was being treated for burns to his arm. In all a total of five people, including three children ages 10, 2, and 5 months old, were taken to the hospital, but listed in stable condition on the way. The children suffered smoke inhalation. I spoke with the neighborhood block captain. She says shes allowing one adult and a few children who were displaced as a result of that fire to hang out at her house until they sort things out. Theyre good. Theyre playing a game. Keep them busy. You know, kids get hurt behind certain stuff, you know, losing a home and stuff like that. We just keep praying.
