Philadelphia south and east its going to be too warm for that. Its going to be rain. On saturday warm air pushes in. Its not going to be all snow. Its not going to be all rain. Its also not going to be all weekend. The weekend forecast calling for those clouds to arrive on saturday. Mainly rain in philadelphia during the day on saturday, and 46 degrees. Even in the Lehigh Valley with some snow coming down, the temperature climbs above freezing into the upper 30s, so this is one thats going to see the most accumulation. Were not talking a lot here. The most accumulation beyond those areas that already have kn snow on the ground. New jersey and the shore and delaware more likely to just see rain on saturday. Saturday evening the snow starts coming back into the area, and well see some lingering snow showers sunday morning. Then theyre out of here sunday afternoon. Look at those afternoon temperatures. The good news is weve got a nice sunny day before they get here. Ill take a closer look at the weekend hour by hour and show you how much you can expect in your neighborhood when i come back in just a few minutes. The neighborhoods have made some real progress. 50s well have to wait until next week, but it is 37 right now in pittman. 38 in lumberton. Nice warmup in princeton which had dropped down to 20 first thing this morning. Look at the 40s for philadelphia. 44 degrees at 5 00. The clouds start to move in during the evening hours, but it will still be dry at 9 00 this evening. The suburbs sunshine. It will linger in the low 40s for the suburbs, but with sunshine and temperatures above freezing much of that snow will be melting. It gets cooler tonight at 9 00, but still dry at the 9 00 hour. The Lehigh Valley with sunshine during the day, youll see the clouds start to move in during the evening hours. Plenty of sunshine and into the middle 40s for delaware by 5 00. It will still be dry during the late evening hours for delaware. New jersey, look at that bright sunshine for new jersey and the shore warming into the 40s for both locations. Then back to the 30s tonight. It wont be all that cold tonight, but it will be cold enough for some areas especially north and west of philadelphia to see some snow developing and sticking too. Theres the system were watching. This is a warm front. Its going to bring some warm air with it, but when it arrives, the air will be colder. Looking for snow to develop in the Lehigh Valley. Thats 7 00 tomorrow morning. Saturday morning starts off with rain in delaware and south jersey. Then the warmup during the day will be enough to push the snow line well to the north. At lunchtime look at the light rain showers for philadelphia and new jersey. Just some light snow showers into the pocono mount toiains a just north of the allentown area. After on and off rain showers on saturday, here comes some col r er air. The snow will first make it towards philadelphia by late saturday night and then during the Early Morning hours on sunday that is some light accumulating snow that is coming into the area. So im not looking at a lot of snow for our area. A dusting for the first round first thing on saturday, and then saturday night and into sunday morning look at that snow sfr spread. A dusting for delaware and zsouh jersey. More than 2 inches in possible in allentown. And the ski resorts and mountains may get 3 or 4 inches of snow out of this one. Tenday on 10 coming up in the next half hour to show you when things warm, how spring is looking for the first week. A new art exhibit in our area is designed to spark a dialogue about the social perceptions of minority groups. Its called interference, and its on display at the philadelphia photo arts center. It features the photographic work of two different artists. One of them is joining us today, andre bradley. Hes here to tell us more about the exhibit. Pretty exciting exhibit, andre. We were talking a little bit off camera about it. Tell our viewers what photos they can expect to see. So some of the photos viewers can expect to see are photographs from family archives, photographs that ive taken with my own camera, portraits of individuals from our community and portraits of myself. Is this supposed to send a different message to people who come and see it . Are they supposed to walk away with a different perception . Yes. I think people are supposed to walk away with a different perception, and i think the perception that i hope they walk away from is that theres an important lesson in looking at your family photographs and yourself as way to kind of reclaim who you are and what you think about yourself out in the world. So, yes, i did grow up in philadelphia, and i was educated in Public Schools in philadelphia. And i think that thats my education here is what really shaped my photographs and thinking about who i am. I grew tup here and going to hih school here made me think differently about who i was in the past and relooking at who i am and reassessing my value is something that is really important and is a part of this exhibit. Well, its a great path you took. Your work has been acclaimed around the world. Yep. You dropped out of high school to now youre on the International Level of things. Pretty impressive. Thank you.
