Trying to determine the cause of the blaze. Tankers of water were brought in to battle the blaze. We saw no hydrants here on the 1300 block of birmingham road. Witnesses told them flames were shooting from the home. The chester conte coroner has been called and departed. The chief has declined comment. I imagine hes trying to contact family members here before speaking to us. In the next half hour, were going to be reaching out to the Coroners Office as well as the chief the Fire Department to find out if in fact someone passeded away in this Early Morning blaze. Happening today, pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf and other officials will call in the immediate closure of the berks county family detention center. The state is issuing the emergency removal order because of the history of human rights abuses in the center which houses immigrants seeking asylum in the United States. State officials are also issuing an appeal to the united nations, calling on that organization to take action at the center. Pennsylvania does have the power to shut down the detention facility while berks county appeals the closure. The center has been criticized for failing to give Adequate Health care to detainees. Emotions ran high in center city last night. Members of philadelphias Lbgt Community met to address concerns and offer solutions after claims of racism at bars and clubs. As a result, the mayor and the city of philadelphia held a public educational hearing on racism and discrimination within the lgbt community. This was the first time anything like this has been held in the gayborhood. There was standing room only. One by one, concerned and upset Community Members spoke out about what they heard on that recording and shared their own stories of discrimination to bars and clubs in this community. We are still in a place where were discussing racial equality and Racial Discrimination and marginalization and criminalization of black people in the gay community. How does an oppressed community then turn and oppress its own people . That made me cry. Several bar owners were subpoenaed to attend but most declined to talk. One owner did. The airport director says the plane landed on its underside which caused minor damage to the plane and propellers. Four people were on board the plane. None of them was hurt. Thats up a degree. Theres a breeze blowing. Were seeing mixing in the atmosphere. Within can see that come down a couple dries. Delaware, 33 degrees. That 33 degrees, there are spots below freezing. Hockessin, 31. Greenville 32 and 38 in wilmington. Farther to the south, the temperatures are warmer. Quite a bit warmer for Rehoboth Beach<\/a> at 50 degrees right now. But theres a cold air mass thats in place for most of the area. Below freezing for the first time this season for the Lehigh Valley<\/a>, delaware, theres that 33 degrees and 33 now in the suburbs and new jersey.
