In london, fire raged through an Apartment Building as hundreds of residents slept. Officials say there are confirmed fatalities. They dont know how many yet. At least 50 people are hospitalized, though. The fire is still going this morning. The mayor calls the situation unprecedented. And you can see from this live picture. Smoke is still pouring out of the charred highrise. Engineers were working to determine if the building was in danger of collapse but say its stable enough for firefighters to go inside. They are still monitoring it. Witnesses say they saw people screaming for help from their windows. People dangling children out of windows. Trying to get them out of the way. It was horrendous. Like an inferno. Completely engulfed. One witness said he watched as a mother dropped her baby out of a ninth or 10th story window into the arms of a man below. Fire Officials Say it is unclear what sparked the fire, though people inside say they did not hear any alarms going off. Heres what we know happened Police Say Two or three men broke through the front door of the home on north front around 3 00 this morning, went to a secondfloor bedroom and shot the woman in the leg after an argument. Her boyfriend and two Young Children were also inside the house. They were not hurt. There are no arrests. Today jurors will return to court in Montgomery County to try and reach a decision in bill cosbys Sexual Assault trial. Heres a live look at the courthouse in norristown. The sun is just coming up. The jury has spent 16 hours deliberating so far. Theyve asked several questions, but they have not returned with a verdict. One question was about cosbys deposition testimony. Jurors asked to rehear testimony from a Police Officer who took accuser Andrea Constands initial report. Cosby is facing three charges, and the jury can k come back with a verdict on one or two. A final Pretrial Hearing is scheduled for Philadelphia District attorney seth williams. The hearing is mostly procedural, in part to review the verdict sheet and to go over jury instructions. Williamstrem on federal bribery and corruption charges is scheduled for monday. Hes accused of taking more than 100,000 in cash and gifts in exchange for favors. A massive manhunt is underway for two escaped inmates police are calling deadly dangerous. Authorities in georgia are have raised a reward for to 70,000 for information that leads to their arrests. Pamela osborne joins us live from Police Headquarters with the breaking details. Pam, tell us how this happened. Reporter that woman and her boyfriend were asleep in an upstairs bedroom when they heard someone breaking into their house in the 3,000 block of north front street. This was just before 3 00 this morning. The victim, a 25yearold woman, got up to check it out first. Her 21yearold boyfriend was standing behind her. As soon as she opened the door, they encountered the suspects. During the confrontation, she was shot in the leg. The victim who was three months pregnant is in stable condition at temple hospital now. Also inside the house, the womans 3yearold and 6yearold children. The children were not hurt. Police believe there were two, possibly three men involved in this Home Invasion. They were Wearing Masks and dark clothing. Its not clear what if anything was taken from the home. This morning, President Trump is apparently giving the thumbs up to his attorney general after his testimony before congress. He said he thought the testimony was strong when Jeff Sessions testified in front of the Senate Intelligence committee. He called any suggestion that he was part of any meddling by the russians in the election an appalling and detestable lie. He was involved in a Heated Exchange when questioned by his accuser in the investigation. Mr. Comey said that there were matters with respect to the recusal that were problematic, and he couldnt talk about them. Why dont you tell me . There are none, senator, there are none. The testimony came days after former fbi director james comey spoke before the same committee. Democrats are unhappy that sessions didnt answer all of the questions fully.
