Today womens march on philadelphia is set for 10 00 this morning. You are looking at a very foggy ben franklin parkway where organizers expect tens much thousands of people to demonstrate. Similar marches defending civil and human rights will be held in dozens of across the country today. There will be some road thursday in philadelphia because of the womens march. Francesca ruscio has the details for us. What many can expect are delays in and out of the area, the demonstration will take place on the ben franklin parkway and egans oval. Today thousands of women will march on washington including many from our area. You can see the crowd of people boarding buses at 30th street station just a short time ago to make the trip to d. C. Down here is a live look at the Capital Building women will march by here today as they demand President Trump and congress focus on issues that affect them. The march here in washington is expected to be huge, more than 200,000 people are expected to participate. The women and men who are going to being part in this are from more than 30 different organizations. The rally scheduled ahead of the march will begin at 10 00 this morning on independence avenue, which is right nearby where we are right now. Organizers say its to send a bold message to President Trump that womens are human rights. And thats not it. They are protesting for criminal justice reform, womens reproductive rights, lgbtq rights and equal pay. We stopped and talked to one protester from new york. She hopped on a mega bus at 11 00 last night and was just getting here and getting ready to attend todays activities. Take a list to what she had to say. I mean this is a really important way for us to say we stand for everyones rights, that womens rights are human rights and we want to protect the rights of all people. We want to be part of it. So the shore may be one of the hardest hit spots from the noreaster once it moves in. Its not moving in today satellite cloudy conditions. Cloudy across the board.
