He cannot remember a time in his 70plusyear history that he hasnt seen the Schuylkill River frozen for a couple weeks straight at this time. This is what someone else had to tell us. Its amazing, right . Were trying to be out and enjoy. We usually go out on sunday morning for long walks with her. Today im like were going to go on a longer walk if possible. We found rowers in the water, sun bathers on the path and plenty of walkers and runners. It was overall just an incredible day to be outside. New this morning, a woman is in the hospital after being shot outside an exotic nightclub in north philadelphia. Nbc 10 was on the scene where police say the woman was sitting in the car when someone opened fire. Police have not made any arrests in this case. In another part of north philly, police are investigating a shooting that happened just after midnight at cecil b. Moore avenue and dover street. Police took the victim to the hospital. No word on his condition. This morning, this Philadelphia Police officer you see being wheeled into an ambulance is in stable condition. She was injured while officers were chasing several dirt bike riders through the streets of north philly. Police began the pursuit after hearing what sounded like gunshots. They saw men on dirt bikes take off in different directions. A witness told us he saw one of the dirt bikes cutting along cars on allegheny avenue. Cops running towards him and stuff. Its just stuff that shouldnt be happening, yet its happening every single day. Police ended up arresting two men during their pursuit. As for hearing gunshots, one of the men told police it was his bike backfiring. We have new details now on a 2yearold child who was hit by a car that kept going yesterday at Amber Montgomery county. The child is now home from the hospital recovering from bruises. In the meantime police are still looking for the driver. An nbc 10 viewer sent us this video of the medical helicopter landing at the playground where it happened yesterday. Police and a witness tell us the area was packed with children at the time and officers were in the area on another call. The witness explains that the incident left her neighborhood shaken. There was a lot of commotion. I heard a baby crying. I tried to take a closer look to see if anybody has called for help or needed help. At that point i saw a car barrel down the alley way and out. Investigators believe the driver did not stop because he may not have felt the impact from hitting the small child. Nonetheless, they are trying to track him down. Police say the driver was in a black toyota forerunner. They describe him as having gray hair and wearing sunglasses. New from overnight, Pennsylvania State police are investigating a deadly accident in northampton county. Two cars collided headon at the intersection of route 611 and belvedere Martins Creek highway around midnight. One person died at the scene. Another victim was flown to the hospital with serious injuries. Back in philadelphia, police are very busy this morning searching for the gunman who shot four teenagers. Here is what we know. Investigators tell us the teens had just left a party when somebody opened fire near conestoga and market streets around 9 00 last night. All four of the teens were rushed to the hospital. They are expected to be okay. Lets head to bucks county where the American Red Cross is helping more than a dozen people forced from their homes because of this fire at an apartment complex. The flames spread through the building at the Lake View Terrace apartments. Crews quickly arrived to snuff out the fire. Fortunately nobody was hurt. Police say a man and woman were stabbed on north harrisburg avenue. One of the victims died. Were working to find the condition of the other victim. We have a recall to let you know about. What were going to see is very easily a return to 50s and 60s many this area by the afternoon. We look at our suburb locations, even warmer temperatures. 56 in West Bradford township. Lincoln university at 55 degrees. 55 for acton, north wales, warrington and bed minister at 56 degrees. These are temperatures that, if they were the highs in the afternoon, they would be warmer than average.
