One man in stable condition following a shooting in southwest philadelphia. Police say a 23 man was shot three times around 2 30 this morning near the corner of 5th street and beaumont avenue. Investigators are still working to find a motive for the shooting. So far no arrests. One person is in the hospital because of this house fire in chester, delaware county. Firefighters called to a house on concord avenue, 5th street. They found heavy fire and smoke on the third floor. It are spread to two more buildings before being put under control. Were working to learn the condition of the victim in the house. Authorities say a firefighter was hit by a wire but did not have to go to the hospital. New this morning, violence at donald trump rallies is sparking action from republican leaders. New york times reports guam campaigning 100 day campaign to launch delegates and deny donald trump the president ial nomination. This is video of that donald trump rally in arizona last night. The video appears to show an audience member punching and kicking a protester who police were escorting out. Officers arrested the alleged attacker. The protester who was not seriously hurt, spoke with nbc news you saw him, that and that and stomping me. Incredible. Brian sanders says the republican president ial frontrunner is associating extremist people who are willing to go to any lengths to get him nominated. Anger surrounding Donald Trumps campaign is now impacting his family. Sources tell nbc news trumps sister, Maryanne Trump Barry received a death threat. Barry is a federal judge in philadelphia. Authorities say she got a threatening letter last week, the day after one of Donald Trumps sons received an envelope with white powder inside, which turned out to be harmless. Meanwhile john kasich says under no circumstances would he consider becoming a Vice President ial candidate if he doesnt win the gop nomination. Shaw saw what happened and grabbed and axe from a neighbor and began hitting the door of the burning car. Trying to get that door open, pry it up. Just hammering with the axe on that door. Uhhuh. The fire is right here, im here. Two other Good Samaritans ripped out the window and pulled the driver out. Hes in the hospital this morning in critical condition. Police in Newcastle County are trying to figure out how a 20yearold fell off a roof. The man from massachusetts died after yesterdays accident in newark. It happened on west main street yesterday afternoon near the university of delaware campus. However, authorities tell us he is not a student at the university. More than a dozen dogs and cats living cleaner lives this morning. The spca rescued them from a filthy home in philadelphia. They were in holmesburg where animal control officers removed the pets. They showed up after they got a tip from the police the dogs and cats were living in unsafe conditions. Spca calling it a case of animal hoarding. Now caring for all those rescued animals. As nbcs Morgan Radford tells us the city is dealing with what could be a growing threat to children exposed to led. Reporter anger and frustration as parents in newark drop their kids off at school. This week water was shut off at 30 Public Schools with unsafe levels of led. The moment that they knew something was wrong the school should have been closed down. 17,000 students offered free blood tests. Were putting led in our own bodies without knowing. Hopefully will be all right. Reporter the city released did the data that showed blood levels at or over federal limit of water samples dating back to 2012. And now the new School Superintendent is demanding water tests at each of the citys 67 schools. What do you say to concerned parents . First of all, i understand that youre far more likely to get inappropriate levels of led from a chip of paint that has led or dust that has led in homes.
