We want to get to the terrible shooting in San Bernadino, california. Were learning about the gunman and the victim. G Gadi Schwartz has the latest. Reporter they say she especially loved teaching children with autism and those with special needs. We got three down. Reporter over the police radio, a shooting call from inside a special needs classroom. The first reports of chaos inside north park Elementary School. Can you advise if the victim is a student or an employee . Its both. Its both. Can you say the injuries on the child . Its a head injury. Two victims with severe trauma. Reporter sed red sick anderson killed his wife of two months in front of her own students. Its a husband of the employee. Reporter within seven minutes, police storming the school, evacuating 500 terrified students. I want to see them and just hug them. Reporter while the desperate parents waited for world. I want my children. Reporter there were 15 students inside the classroom when anderson opened fire. Two children who were behind the teacher were hit. 8yearold Jonathan Martinez died from his wounds. A 9yearold who was also shot is in stable condition this morning. Other little ones traumatized by the horror they witnessed. I saw blood across the room. I ran as fast as i could. She lost a shoe. I lost a shoe. Reporter its the second active shooter tragedy in San Bernadino in a little over a year. 14 people were killed in a terrorist attack that shocked the nation. This is an absolutely tragic event. Our hearts are broken, as is everyone else. Reporter anderson had checked in with the front office, saying he needed to drop something off for his wife. Theres no indication that the gun was visible on his arrival at the school. It wasnt until he came in the classroom that he presented the firearm. Reporter police say the couple had been estranged. This video from february, anderson talks about how much he loves his wife. I love my wife. She is making me really happy. She knows when to ignore me. That makes a happy marriage. Reporter one Family Member painting a different picture of the relationship. Saying smith was scared of her husband and went into hiding when they separated but never filed a police report. Now, her family is left to mourn her loss. I want to say that my mom, she was very special to a lot of people. Reporter and once again, the community of San Bernadino coming together in the face of violence. Apart from teaching at this school, Family Members say smith also volunteered at her Church Teaching children. Meanwhile, investigators are now looking into the criminal history of anderson saying, he had an assault charge and a weapons charge in 2013. But those were later dismissed. One respective russian news source is suggesting that that meeting will take place. But the official kremlin position is, there is nothing on the agenda between Vladimir Putin and Rex Tillerson. Maybe this is not the time for either man to be seen shaking the others hand. There has been within the last few minutes a statement from the russian Foreign Ministry, hoping for productive talks with sergey lavrov. And monoting that russian u. S. Relations are at their most difficult since the cold war. The kremlin has been watching that g7 meeting carefully for signs of a united stand by the west. Also, for any signs of what u. S. Strategy Going Forward might be. And i think it is now quite clear that Rex Tillerson will deliver a message to the kremlin that russia must drop its support for president assad, that he is toxic. But this comes at the very moment when russia is doubling down on its military support for president assad. And of course, assad is winning the war on in syria. So, this may not be something that russia is prepared to do. This was meant to be a talk about improving relations with russia. But that ended with the Cruise Missile strikes. The ceo of United Airlines has sent a letter to airline employees saying he emphatically stands by them. And he lies much of the blame for this incident on the passenger who was dragged out of the plane. He says he became uncooperative and disruptive when he was told he would have to leave. And now, as you would expect, the airline is dealing with a Public Relations nightmare. This morning, the outrage is growing. A 69yearold man forcibly removed from a United Airlines flight sunday in chicago. My god. What are you doing . Reporter dragged out of his feet. Hitting his face. Look at what you did to him. Reporter and pulled down the aisle. He was bleeding from his nose and mouth area. He looked like he was unconscious. Reporter it started when a Flight Attendant asked for four volunteers to give up their seats so four crew members can fly to louisville. The airline said it offered up to 1,000 per passenger. United said it selected four passengers. Three agreed. But the unidentified passenger refused, saying he was a doctor who needed to see patients. And got increasingly upset. He was yelling at the woman saying, why did you pick me . Are you profiling me because im chinese . Reporter the crew called police who pulled him out of his seat. [ yelling ] reporter after being dragged from the plane, he suddenly returned, appearing disoriented and distraught. Finally, he was taken away on a stretcher. United airlines Ceo Oscar Munoz took to twitter saying, this is an upsetting event to all of us at united. I apologize and reaccommodate the passengers. Twitter blew up. You knocked him out and dragged him off a plane, wrote down. If you fly united, that could be you, said another. The Cleveland Browns joe thomas tweeting, i had to reaccommodate someone once. They have suspended one officer involved, as the incident was not in accordance with our standard operating procedure. United cant manage their own people. And so, they drag off these passengers. Its the customers come last. And united comes first. And its a bad attitude. And thats totally anticonsumer. Reporter this morning, United Airlines says it is reaching out to that affected customer. Now, if youre asking, is it possible the airline can simply bump me off a plane when i have paid for the ticket and im sitting there . The answer is, yes. They can do that. Its agreed to when you buy your ticket. They have to compensate you depending on how long youre going to be inconvenienced, up to 1,350. Back to you. They can. But should they . Obviously, united is in crisis mode right now, tom. Have you ever seen anything like this . A justreleased internal report blames wells fargos management for pressuring employees to meet unrealistic sales goals. The report says the sales culture dates back 15 years. And blames top executives for dragging their feet, until that scandal spiraled out of control. This morning, wells fargo is doing serious damage control, saying its forcing two former top executives to return another 75 million in compensation. The socalled clawbacks, the largest in wall street history. When i look back, i should have and could have done some things differently. Reporter the banks now ceo, tim sloan, speaking to cnbc, just after a newlyreleased internal report, pinned most of the blame of the scandal on former chief executive john stu stumpf and kerry toll stead.
