Drugs should be dispensed. Like the amount of pills per dose each etc etc etc And then the doctors many times they unknowingly know anything else but what the reps are telling them that's unfortunate how some doctors will know and they still prescribe them other doctors like in your case know what the addictive qualities are of these drugs and will instruct you to be careful when you're taking them and then there are other doctors and I think they're cracking down on this right now who will prescribe say 30 days with maybe even a renewal of painkillers when you really only should be.
