West, north west winds at 12 Miles Per Hour. Your headlines for today blue skies. Its going to be nice tomorrow as well. But late tomorrow, the clouds will start to move in and then tuesday is looking wet. Were looking at rain, maybe even one to two inks and we really inches and we really could use it. Thats good news even though it could impact your commute on tuesday. As we look at todays high, 55 degrees is where were heading. The normal high is 57. So were right on the money from where we should be this time in november. If youre wondering how long we get to endower the sunshine endure the sunshine, till 4 45 this afternoon. As far as the foliage were peaking. Ocean counties looking really good but if you want to head north, its past peak. Youll start to see empty trees. In addition today with the strong northwest breeze, its likely more leaves will be getting knocked off the trees. So certainly feeling like fall out there with falling leaves. As we look at our rainfall updates, september 1 weve gotten just over 7 inches. For that period of time, were about two and a half inches below normal. We could erase that deficit on tuesday in some cases. Looks like well have most of the rain falling to the east of the city. As you look at the vortex satellite and radar picture, clear skies overhead right now and its High Pressure to thank. Beautiful blue skies and even tomorrow as well because of this. It will be making its way in the easterly direction as that happened the northwest winds will become a little more southerly tomorrow ushering in some slightly warmer air. So well warm up by a few degrees for your monday. Before today its a fall feel. Mid50s. Breezy, sunny. Tomorrow another beautifully but notice the wind direction. Start to bring in slightly warmer air but not going to be significant. 58 tomorrow. Then on tuesday an area of low pressure tracks up the coast. As that happens well see rain day, possibly even all night rain event tuesday into early wednesday. And that may translate to 1 to 2 inches of rain for us. Heres the deal. As the High Pressure system slides up the coast, we are going to get a much needed soaking on tuesday. In addition to that, it will be a chilly northeast wind. So its not going to be warm and wet. Its going to be raw and wet as we make our way into the day on tuesday. But again we need the rain. For today no rain, just beautiful blue skies, brisk breezes out of the northwest at 10 to 15 with gusts as high as 20 Miles Per Hour. Your high today is 55. Thats pretty much where we should be. Overnight clear and getting even colder. 41 in the city will mean some areas north and west ever the city will fall below freezing overnight. The winds, though, will be senting down. As you make your way to the bus stop tomorrow morning with the kids, the windchill shouldnt be a huge factor although keep in mind it will still be cold out there. Then by afternoon tomorrow, its another beauty. 5 degrees with clouds moving in thats going to bring us rain on tuesday. So tuesday 59. Looks wet and with that wind off the water i think its going to be a pretty raw day. Wednesday 62, clearing out just in time for veterans day. Thats looking nice. For thursday 63 degrees and a front likely bringing us a little bit more rain. Friday and saturday skies are clearing out. Saturday were looking at 54 and mostly sunny. All right. So get the umbrella ready for tuesday. And get the camera ready to see the last fall colors. Its coming to an end for sure. Then with the rain on tuesday, it really could wash it out.
