I spoke to a senior turkish official yesterday who said that as long as isis exists in syria, it will be impossible to stem the flow of extremists across that border. The other problem is intelligence sharing. That turkish official said turkey had warned france twice about one of the terrorist attackers, last year and again this year, over concerns that he may have traveled to syria, but french officials didnt follow up until after the paris attacks. When, just after 4 00 this morning, s. W. A. T. Teams stormed a third floor apartment and came under a barrage of heavy gunfire.
