Police are investigating a shooting that happened just two hours ago on old world third street and wells. Thats a busy area. Especially once the morning commute gets underway. And people start heading to work. Work. Cbs 58s julie parise joins us live with the details. That shooting happened just down the street, right outside the victim was able to drive himself here, where he flagged down a police car which took him to the hospital. He is currently being treated for non life threatening injuries. Take a look at this video we just shot of the ongoing investigation. Police tell us a 34 year old man was involved in some kind of argument on the extent of his injuries but we know he was able to run down the street to get the attention of the officer. If the body cam footage isnt released from the officer involved shooting that touched members of the the aclu, coaltion for justice and wisconsin jobs now were unite din their request yesterday during a press conference. They say authorities should first show the footage to the family. Then release it to the public. The wisconsin doj is in charge of the investigation, and says its not prepared to release any of the Video Evidence right now. 015 without transparency and the release of the body cam video we fear the unrest that be greater than we saw last weekend.
