Police say thats when bullets flew threw the kitchen window, hitting and killing her. This is 15yearold Melanie Johnson. Her family says she lives at home with her mother and siblings. She went to John Marshall school in milwaukee. Milwaukee police do not believe this was a drive by attack or that melanie was the target but they arent sure. At this point, police dont have a motive or information on a suspect in this shooting. We spoke last night with melanies sister. She says her sister is just the latest victim to a violence problem here in milwaukee. Many kids losing their life with nonsense violence. Put the guns down, please.
