Some would suggest Carolina is, too.
The first pro day in March was when Pace reportedly met with Seahawks GM John Schneider about a possible Russell Wilson trade.
The absence of the Bears could mean something about their approach in Round 1 or Round 2 of the draft.
Then again, it might mean nothing at all.
Here are the endless possibilities (The Long List):
1 They've already seen enough to know where they rate him and at what point it would be all right to take him in the draft. Their draft board is set, and usually at this point that's been the case for every team for days or even weeks.

Washington's offensive line played better with improved coaching last year, but could still use more talent at several spots. The wide receiver room got much better by adding Curtis Samuel, but could also use an additional option. Ryan Fitzpatrick obviously isn't the long-term answer at quarterback and a safety to play next to Landon Collins also remains critical.

Ciara shared an Instagram video with her fans of her 9-month-old son, Win Wilson, clapping his hands along to the children’s song “If You’re Happy and You Know It Clap Your Hands.” As Ciara sang the song to her son, Win just smiled and clapped, then eventually scooted down to his hands and knees to rock back and forth to the song.

Late for Work 4/19: Ravens Ranked as Top Drafting Team Over Last Five Years
When it comes to their track record in the draft, the Ravens' reputation precedes them.
That's why it wasn't much of a surprise when The New York Post's Brian Costello ranked Baltimore as the best drafting team over the last five years.
"The Ravens repeat as our top drafting team," Costello wrote. "[Lamar] Jackson, an MVP, is their top pick, but they have nailed many picks in recent years, from Ronnie Stanley to Marlon Humphrey and Orlando Brown."
Costello examined every team's draft classes from 2016-2020 based on factors that included games played, Pro Bowl appearances, first-team All-Pro selections, MVPs and other seasonal awards. He also considered the team's overall success during that span.

What do Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins, Tua Tagovailoa, Jameis Winston, and Cam Newton all have in common?
Not much.
statistics, Cousins would blow these three men out of the water.
Instead,
it is MVP odds for 2021 — all four men are slated as 66/1 chances to win the 2021 NFL MVP award by
BetMGM. Patrick Mahomes leads the field (6/1), followed by Aaron Rodgers (8/1) and Josh Allen (12/1) to win the league’s most prestigious individual award. The only non-quarterbacks with reasonable MVP odds at this juncture are Christian McCaffrey and Derrick Henry, who have around 33/1 odds depending on the sportsbook.

There's a chasm between Mac Jones' stellar college numbers and the lukewarm forecast that qualitative evaluators give for his future in the NFL. And it forces a question that quarterback-needy teams have to answer: Which will best predict his pro career?
Statistically, Jones is one of the greatest college quarterbacks of his generation. At Alabama in 2020, he recorded the single-highest QBR season in the metric's history, dating back to 2004. NFL Mock Draft: SI Team-By-Team - With A Houston Texans Top-Pick Prediction - Sports Illustrated Houston Texans News, Analysis and More

Apr 18, 2021
Sports Illustrated has just dropped a new mock draft for the 2021 NFL Draft. What is unique with this mock draft is that each publisher from the Sports Illustrated sites covering the NFL each had their say.
However, the one rule is that there could be no trades in order to move up or down the order. As such, the Houston Texans do not have a pick in this particular mock draft, but it could be a good reference for what conference and divisional rivals could do in order to bolster their rosters.
Besides ... as you'll see below, we still make a "first pick'' for Houston. Dig in!

The 12th straight win for the Longhorns was much more difficult than the 18-0 stomping put on the Wildcats on Friday, but Texas head coach David Pierce expected that coming into the game.
