But they can tell me that two of the three shootings happened during a sweep 16 Birthday Party just on euclid avenue less than a mile from where we are now. Here is what i can tell you about the three shootings. Around 10 30 saturday to that party, four shots fired. When they arrived they say the victim wasnt there. They say he chose to seek medical attention himself. As for the suspect in this case they were able to locate a vehicle involved and arrested the man driving the car that turns out to be a stolen vehicle. Then just 30 minutes later at 11 00, they were called back to the same sweet 16 Birthday Party on euclid. This time they found an 18year old male unresponsive on the sidewalk. They say that they attempted to revive him, he was eventually transported to University Hospital where he was pronounced dead. It doesnt end there. Around 2 00 a. M. Police were then called to the intersection of euclid and shaw for a third shooting. That victim transported himself to the hospital. In a stolen vehicle which is now being held with East Cleveland police. They tell me one person of interest is in custody, a second person of interest is that third shooting. But again, a complex case here overnight. They say there are many unanswered questions. They are asking anyone with information to call East Cleveland police this morning. Police say 42yearold Christopher Trent and his 40 yearold brother allen trent, were killed at a Washington Town home apartment there. A neighbor called 911 to report gunshots. They tell me, police tell me this is quite a convoluted case. Also new this morning a man wanted for almost 15 years on charges that he raped a child in ohio has been arrested in colorado. U. S. Marshals say 40yearold david lee skelly, known as Herman Singleton too attempted to run before he was captured outside the residence inn where he worked near denver. He was wanted on eight counts of rape and sexual assault. He was originally indicted by a grand jury in lucas county in 2001. New details just in about the crash that killed two people in copley township last night. The victims have been leatherman of wadsworth and 19 yearold Hailey Schmidt of copley. They were speeding north of copley road, lost control and hit a ditch and several trees. The crash remains under investigation today. In cleveland, a 60yearold man is dead after being struck by a car overnight. Michael groves was crossing lee road near tarkington avenue before 10 00 when a vehicle hit him and drove off. Groves was not in a marked crosswalk at the time. Its unknown now if police have a description of the vehicle that hit him.
