This is the last place the dad and son were seen together before something bizarre happened. Crews scoured the area last night, but to no avail. Yearold boy wraped in a blanket after he was rescued from an island known by locals as island 75 along the river. As we mentioned, he was all alone and managed to answer a facetime call from his mom on his dads cell phone. The man has been identified as William George morris of riverview. A passerby noticed the child on an island and stayed with the boy until help arrived. The jet key was located on the south side of the island, pulled up on a bank with an adult life scwroat ski. Now, sheriffs deputies got a call around 6 00 last night when the dad and son failed to come home after a jet skiing trip, and then thats when they began their search. Neighbors were sad to hear the news. I know shes very heartbroken. I mean, she has to be wondering and just have so many questions, and i dont know. I hope they get their answers or at least get justice for whatever happened and figure it hoping for answers. St. Pete also contributed another 100,000 in startup costs and to create this docking facility, all for the sixmonth trial run. It a test. Its going because its a sixmonth project, so were not asking them to give up their cars. Were asking them to try a different way and experience it for themselves.
