Organizers say they had no choice but to say no to many seeking help. There were several that did get seen waiting hours in line at manatee countys remote area medical clinic. The coorganizer says the need is so strong, they ran out of appointment slots. This morning we turned away over 300 people, we didnt have enough dentists and enough eye specialists. About 350,000 people live in manatee county. Almost half needed a free clinic like the one offered today. Patients could get a wide range of services from dental work to eye care, all of it free of charge.
