Pinellas county deputies tell us this morning the community is safer for our children now, now that 15 men have been busted in an undercover sex sting. Deputies say the suspects all traveled to meet what they thought was a minor for sex after chatting with that person online. Turns out the minors were actually investigators, that sting is called operation wayfarer and the sheriff says it should be a warning to parents that you need to watch what your children are doing on line. When the kids dont like the fact that youre checking their email, checking their text messages, checking their instant messenger, checking instagram, checking all the web sites that they are using too bad. Suspects range in age from 20 to 47, they say one even trove three andahalf hours to meet yearold girl. New efforts to tackle a designer drug problem. Deputies say several of the recruits scored 100 on the first test. Investigators say it turns out a training deputy gave those recruits copies of the exams early, that deputy has since resigned and all seven recruits are no longer with the department. The Ridesharing Service uber tells abc action news its after he allegedly pulled a gun on a passenger. Yearold patrick mcdonalds rider became sick friday night. When mcdonald asked him to get another way home the two started to fight. Investigators say mcdonald car and pulled a gun on him. Uber says it will help deputies look into what happened. As the kids get ready to get to hard for some to believe but there is really no recess anymore for a lot of school however, a bill being debated this morning at the State Capitol would change that. Not everyone is convinced this is a good idea. In fact some School Administrators claim they would have to actually make the school day longer.
