Weve got a weak boundary across the region thats going to be the culprit of some cooler air for the second half of the weekend. Today i want to point out, wakely up to mostly the 40s and 50s, although we have a few cooler spots like keene into the 30s. Areas of fog in some spots, but not that dense fog that we had yesterday morning. Thats because the winds have calmed across southwestern New Hampshire. That wind is active along the coast so we will continue to see fine visibility through the morning, but just be prepared for some limited visibility where we do see some later winds. Temperatures today on the rise. Again climbing well into the 50s if not 60. Ill show you what to expect in your town coming up in just a little bit. This morning the Investigation Continues into thursdays runaway mbta train. Here is what we know so far. Govenor Charlie Baker admitting the operating made several mistakes on that red lion train. One of those mistakes is a detail fox25 first reported. Trains accelerator. The mbta said the operator did not set the brakes before stepping off the train. If you can imagine the entire situation putting riders in quite a dangerous situation. Now the agency is sending extra reminders out to its employees writing. Fox25 stephanie is live where stephanie. Eric, that train actually left braintree station which is right here behind me. It traveled nine minutes through four different stops without a conductor on board. And because there is only one conductor on board every train, there was no one else left to sound the alarm, so we went inside the mbta command center because we wanted to learn more about how dispatchers were able to eventually stop that train. They told us when dispatchers on the platform realized the conductor wasnt on board thats when they alerted the command center and that train had left the station. Dispatchers alerted other trains on the tracks to keep moving so they wouldnt get hit and the closest one just 10 minutes away from that runaway rain. Rain train. However the fact that this train wasnt making any station stops. Obviously that window would have diminished. And because there wasnt a conductor on board to activate the emergency stop on that system, dispatchers had to cut power to the third rail which is what powers every train on the tracks. The system also doesnt have anyway for the command center to alert passengers on board trains about what was going on, so a lot them had absolutely no idea until they got off the strain and learned this information, and we wanted to learn how other cities handle these types of situations and alert passengers on their Public Transportation systems and well have that for you coming up in 30 minutes. In braintree, im stephanie, fox25 news. And this morning were learning the red lion car involved in the incident was the oldest in the mbta fleet. They told us the train was built around 1970 and rebuilt in 1985. But despite its age, the mbta says some of the older cars are some of the most reliable of all the red lion cars. Something to watch over the weekend into next week. Now, visibility better than it was yesterday morning. Not too bad in boston, but we have some spots like norwood reporting some lower visibility out there, so be prepared for that. Thats where temperatures are the coolest too, in the 30s. Otherwise were waking up to temperatures in the 40s and 50s. This is very mild. Typically our normal temperature in the morning for this time of year is right around 30 degrees. So youre right about average even though youre the coldest spot on the map. Going through today, anticipating temperatures right now in the 50s to continue to climb, those winds are going to turn out of the west about 5 to 15 miles per hour, and sure enough were going to see some breaks from the cloud cover, a day today, and well be back into the upper 50s, is not near 60 in some spots. Now tonight the clouds will begin to thicken you want. I want to show you, this is what you can expect for highs today. Not too bad out there. Again, some spots just near 60 degrees. But its tonight where were going to stay mild with the clouds thickening up. Temperatures falling back only into the 40s. Again, a few spots could fall back into the upper 30s. A back door cold front is going to move on through and provide some cooler weather for our sunday. I say cooler, not cold, because normal highs, 42, so getting to 50 in boston is still above average, but its about 10 degrees cooler than what it will be for the day today. In fact im thinking the north shore, places like rockport as well as gloucester. But most of us stay dry. If youre traveling this weekend, i a little bit cooler the north you go. We do have some high thin clouds across the region and this weather boundary that were going to be watching closely really affecting us as we head into tomorrow bringing slightly cooler weather. It is cool in some spots this morning, below freezing, typical for this time of year and this is where were seeing some pockets of visibility. What a difference traveling from norwood to boston, 30 serve to 51. Big jump in temperatures. Thats because the winds are light there with clear skies allowing for those temperatures to fall back. A little bit stronger i guess you could say in boston, so visibility looking fairly fantastic compared pockets. Were anticipating to see temperatures once again in the upper 50s to near 60 degrees with a mix of sun and clouds. Clouds will thicken up tonight. If you do have any plans outdoors in boston, im going to take you through the timeline also when to expect the next chance of rain and the difference in the cooler weather for the weekend. Ill have the latest this morning the Investigation Continues into thursdays runaway mbta train. So here is what we know at this point. Govenor Charlie Baker now admits the operator did make several mistakes on that red lion train. One of those mistakes is a detail fox25 first reported. A cord was wrapped around the trains accelerator, the mbta says the operator also did not set the brakes before stepping off of that train. The incident put riders in quite a dangerous situation. Now the agency is setting sending out extra reminder, including in fox25 stephanie is live from where this all started. Eric, investigators have been out here for the past several days inspecting the tracks right here. This is the station where that train left. It traveled nine minutes, traveled through four different stops without their conductor on board. And because there is only one conductor on board every train, no was able to sound the alarm. We went inside the mbta command center to learn more about how exactly dispatchers were able to stop that train. They told us when dispatchers on the platform realized there wasnt a conductor on board thats when they alerted the command center. That alert came in 60 seconds after that train will already left the station. Dispatchers at the command center alerted all other trains on the track to keep moving so they wouldnt crash into the runaway train. The closest ones just 10 minutes however the fact that this wasnt making any station stops, obviously that window would have diminished. There are emergency stop systems on board trains, but because there wasnt a conductor to activate that system, dispatchers actually had to cut the power to the third rail which is how all of these trains get their power. The t also doesnt have a system to allow the command center to speak or at least communicate with passengers on board the train. So a lot of these passengers really didnt have any idea what was going on until they got off the train and learned the news. At First Paris Church, followed by burial in a waltham cemetery. 33yearold Louis Menendez was accused of killing she was found lying along. He will be arraigned on monday. Fox25 is working to get more information about a deadly crash in lynn. A man was killed after being hit by a car around 6 30 last night. It happened on the northbound side of lynn way and had the area shut down for about two hours. Police say the victim was not in a crosswalk. The driver is facing charges for the Police Investigation will determine if charges will be filed in connection with the mans death. A driver is dead, a home badly damaged in north redding after a car went right through a living wall. You can see it went all the way through. It happened early yesterday morning on route 62. Fox25 spoke with the homeowner who says she was just feet away when that car flew into her home. I just turned and heard that awful sound. Police are investigating whether that played a roll in the crash. The driver was a 30 yellow lineyearold woman from wilmington. Her name has not yet been released. A New Hampshire native is facing child sex trafficking charges in peru. Cameras were rolling as police took 64yearold Joshua David Brown into custody. Police say theyve been on browns trail for years. For sex and possibly even killing two of his victims. Police raided eight homes in lima a week ago arresting brown and five other people. This grinning man is at the heart of a terror investigation. Enrique marquez was sayed farooks friend. They built pipe bombs together and attack. So along this weather boundary, expect to see some clouds when you wake up tomorrow. Otherwise it should be a generally dry day with the clouds in place and the cooler weather. Now the warmth still to our south. Now well be watching this boundary very closely, because by monday its going to lift northward once again and well tap into that milder air. What you can anticipate for highs tomorrow, a bit of a change. About 10 degrees cooler, but again, normal high, lower 40s. So 50 in boston. Perhaps upper 40s for the north shore. The further south and west you go, the likely youre going to get into those mid to upper 50s coming tomorrow. If youre going to be traveling across the region, places like new york still in the 60s. We wanted to know how other cities, how they handle their transportation and their safety alerts through their Public Transportation system. We learned in washington, d. C. For example their metro run almost entirely by Remote Control, and dispatchers will, they can actually make announcement directly to passengers. In San Francisco they have a have to be on board to turn on those special announcements. In new york, slightly different, they do not have the ability to communicate with passengers remotely. However every train does have two conductors, so if something were to happen to one of them, the second one theoretically could alert those passengers on board. Meantime here in braintree the mayor told us hes all for looking at ways to improve communicating with passengers, but he wants to make sure that its done properly. The pastors are also circulating a petition expressing no confidence in chicago mayor ram emanuel. Massachusetts could soon be following cons lead possibly use an executive order even to keep people on the federal no fly list from being able to buy guns. Govenor baker says hes looking into it, but there are roadblocks, including the governments reluctance to share the list. I want to take a look at the forecast, because today its going to feel more like spring skiing. Lots of clouds so no solar glare. Its been a really slow start to the season for snowfall. Weve picked up just only a trace in boston and worcester. Typically we see at least a few inches in boston by this time and in worcester we see usually about 7. Last year we had over eight in worcester and last year in boston we even had a couple inches of snow. Typically we pick up about 9 in december. Last year we started off slow. You know how we ended up, the season, though, our record breaking and then the last five years weve picked up slightly more in december of 2013, but december of 2011 i wanted to point out, we only had a trace of snow and we had one of our least snowyest seasons when we started off quite slow. December 2010, do you remember that . After the holidays we had a pretty big snowstorm that brought a couple about 22 of snow to end december. Today were not talking about snow. Sure weve got some clouds in the city of boston. Take a look at the temperature. Above average in the 50s right now. A little bit cooler in some spots to the north and west. We will see that sunshine go to work. So your temperature trend today, youre not going to need that jacket this afternoon as temperatures will be in the mid to upper 50s, near 60 degrees with a mix of sun ask clouds and even by this evening if youve got plans, temperatures on the milder side, but you will notice the cloud cover starting to thicken you want. But were waking up to some clouds and clear skies too especially the further north you did. Sure enough we have there are cooler parts out to northern Worcester County and parts of New Hampshire. Norwood has dropped back to 34 degrees, but visibility in that location, it is, improving, and well continue to see that through the day today. Temperatures will jump into the upper 50s to near 60 degrees. Well above the average of 42, so well take it. The cooler weather is on the way for this weekend. Ill have the latest timeline and also when we can expect some heavy rainfall over to you. Talk to you in a bit, sarah. This morning the Investigation Continues into the runaway mbta train. Heres what we know govenor Charlie Baker admitting the operator made several mistakes on that redline train. One of those mistakes is a detail a cord wrapped around the trains accelerator. The mbta says the operator also did not set the brakes before stepping off the train. It put riders in a very dangerous situation. Now the agency is sending out extra reminder, including in writing, to its employees reminding them of the rules. Fox25 stephanie is live where this all started. Stephanie. Eric, you can see behind me where the train last traveled. It traveled nine minutes through four different stops without the conductor on board and since there was only one conductor on board, every train, thats normal procedure, there was no one else to sound that alarm. So we went inside the mbta command center to learn more about exactly how dispatchers were able to stop that train. They told us when dispatchers on the platform here in braintree realized the conductor wasnt on board, thats when they alerted that alert came in 60 seconds after the train had already left the station. And so in order for other trains not to get crashed crashed into that rain, dispatch alerted all other trains to keep on moving themselves. The closest train they say was 10 minutes ahead of the runaway train. However, the fact that this train was not making any station stops had the decision been made by the old cc dispatcher to not express those changes, obviously that window would have diminished. And because there wasnt a conductor on board to activate the emergency stop system, dispatchers actually had to cut the power to the third rail which is what powers every train on these tracks. Another issue is the t does not have a way for people to communicate to passengers once they board that train, and we wanted to see what other technology is out there in other major cities. Well have this information for you in braintree, im stephanie the agency telling fox25 the train was built around 1970 and it was rebuilt in 1985. But despite its age, the mbta maintains the older cars are the cars. There are 25 of them that date back that far and all of them at this point remain in service. A worcester man is facing murder charges in a stabbing death. 33yearold luia menendez was arrested friday. Hes accused of killing sherise hill. She was found with multiple stab wounds. Menendez will be arraigned on monday. Fox25 is working to get more information about a deadly crash in lynn. A man was killed after being struck by a car around 6 30 last night. It happened on the northbound side of the lynn way and had the area shut down for about two hours. Police say the victim was not in a crosswalk. The driver is facing charges for some unspecified Motor Vehicle violations. The Police Investigation will determine if charges will be filed in connection with the mans death. A driver is dead and a home add badly damaged in North Reading after a car went right through a way through as you can see in this photo. Just startling. It happened early yesterday morning on route 62. Fox25 spoke with the homeowner who says she was just feet away when that car flew into her home. I just turned and heard that awful sound. Just i cant i cant get it out of my head and yet i cant describe it. Its just awful. I can only imagine. You can see in the video just how foggy it was at the time of the accident. Police are investigating whether fog might have played a role in the crash. The driver was a 39yearold woman from wilmington. Her name has not been released yesterday. A New Hampshire native is facing child sex trafficking charges in peru. Cameras were rolling as police took 64yearold Joshua David Brown into custody. Police say they have been on browns trail for years. Hes accused of selling children for sex, possibly even killing two of his victims. Police raided eight homes in lima a week ago, arresting brown and five but through a translator, brown proclaimed his innocence. I know exactly whats happening. A person whom i trusted has been trying for weeks to get me in trouble, but i have nothing to do with this. Police also rescued 36 people, including 11 children. Brown has been living in south america for more than a decade, but he could face charges back home in the u. S. As well. The fbi continues to search for more evidence in the San Bernardino mass shooting. Part of that includes combing this lake about 3 miles from the side where 14 people were shot to death. Police have reason to believe the couple accused of carrying out the attack may have dumped evidence in the lake. The search is expected to last for days. Meanwhile, the fbi is Digging Deeper into the backgrounds of Tashfeen Malik and her husband sayed res win farook. Mary maloney reports most of the information is coming from his childhood friend. Heart of a terror investigation. Enrique marquez was farooks friend and neighbor. They built pipe bombs together and three years ago plotted a terror attack. Tashfeen malik entered the United States legally as the wife of american born sayed rizwan farook, but in the paris terrorist attacks, fake syrian passports were found on two of the suspects. Intelligence sources say isis is working very hard to develop Fake Passports good enough to get them through security. U. S. Officials are worried isis may be using information and even finger prints of syrian citizens to create more phony ids. The territory they took over happened to have a building where the syrians processed passports, so they have blank passports and it is means to print them and fake them. Temperatures this morning will hour with a mix of sun and clouds this afternoon up into the 50s, near 60 degrees. But weve got the clouds increasing and rain chances also increasing. Ill talk more about when to expect heavy rain coming up. All right. This morning the Investigation Continues into thursdays runaway mbta train. Here is what we know right now. Govenor baker admits the operator made several mistakes on the redline train. One of those mistakes is a detail fox25 first reported. A cord actually wrapped around the trains accelerator. The mbta says the operator also did not set the brakes before stepping off the train. We dont mean to tell you this situation. Now the agency is sending out extra reminder to employees, included in writing about the rules. Fox25 Stephanie Coueignoux live from where this all started. Stephanie, this is highlighting a communication gap in situations once passengers actually board a train, the mbta has no way of communicating with them. And this is the braintree station right here behind me where the runaway train started. As you can imagine, begun, just how concerning this is for everybodior everyone on board after they realized that train just wasnt stopping. Now, that announcement that you just heard, those are made by the conductor, but, again, because the conductor got off the train that ran away on thursday morning, there wasnt anyone to let passengers know exactly what was going on. We wanted to know how other cities how they handle their communication and safety alerts in their Transportation Systems. We learned in washington d. C. For example their metro runs almost entirely by Remote Control. Dispatchers there are able to make announcements directly to passengers. San francisco has a similar system, to turn on those special announcements. New york doesnt have a system like that. However, they do have two conductors on every train. So if something happens to one conductor, the second one could theoretically alert passengers on whats happening. Meantime, back here in braintree, the mayor says hes all for looking at ways to improve the system, but he just wants to make sure that its done properly. No question that i think we need to communicate more quickly and more effectively. However, we need to make sure that that information is accurate. Take a look at this video. It put riders in a very dangerous situation. Now the agency is sending out reminder to its employees including reminder in writing about the rules. And her rick, right here behind me this is where that runaway train it traveled nine minutes going through four different stops board. And because there is only one conductor on board in every train, alarm. We went inside the mbta command center, because we wanted to learn how dispatchers were able to eventually stop that train. They told us when dispatchers on the platform here realized the conductor wasnt on board, thats when they alerted the command center and that alert came in 60 seconds after that train had already left because there were other trains on the tracks, dispatchers then alerted other trains to keep on moving so they wouldnt get hit and we learned the closest train was just 10 minutes ahead of the runaway train. However the fact that this train was not making any station stops, had the decision been made by the dispatcher to not express those trains, obviously that window would have diminished. There wasnt a conductor on board to activate the emergency stop system. Because of that, dispatchers actually had to cut power to the 30 train. And another issue that was brought up, these trains, they do not have anyway of having a Remote Access so the command center could not alert passengers on board to what was going on. Many of them told us they have no idea what exactly happened until they got off and learned that news. And coming up in 30 minutes, we wanted to see how other cities handled their Transportation Systems and their alert systems. Well have this information for you coming up in 30 minutes. The agency tells us the train was built around 1970 and rebuilt in 1985, but despite its age the mbta most reliable of all of the redline cars, and there are 25 of them that date back as far as that one. And his death is being called an accident by the department of defense, but it is still being investigated. Corporal aimesburys body will be flown back to New Hampshire for funeral services. In the meantime this morning a waltham soldier will be laid to rest in less than an hour from now. 65 years to the day he went missing in action. Sergeant robert dayken arrived home thursday decades after the korean war ended. Sky fox was over the scene as the 22yearolds remains were escorted from logan to his hometown thursday and today the streets of waltham will be lined with people to honor sergeant dayken on his final journey. His funeral begins at 10 00 a. M. At First Paris Church. A worcester man is facing murder charges in a stabbing death. 33yearold luia menendez was arrested friday. A man was killed after being hit by a car around 6 30 last night. It happened on the northbound side of the lynn way and had the area shut down for about two hours. Police say the victim was not in a crosswalk. However, the driver is facing charges for unspecified Motor Vehicle violations. The Police Investigation will determine if charges will be filed in connection with the mans death. A driver is dead and a home badly damaged in reading. Look here. The car went right through the living room wall. As you can see it took the wall completely out. It happened yesterday morning on route 62. We spoke with the homeowner who says she was just feet away when the car went flying into her home. I turned and heard that awful sound. It just i cant i cant get it out of my head, and yet i cant and you can see from our scene video here just how foggy it was in that area at the time. So police are investigating whether fog might have played a role in the crash. The driver was a 30 yellow lineyearold woman from wilmington. Her name hasnt been released at this point. A New Hampshire native is facing child sex trafficking charges in peru. Cameras were rolling as police took 64yearold Joshua David Brown into custody. Police say they have been on browns trail for years. He is accused of selling children for sex, possibly even killing two of his victims. Hope your weekend is getting off to a great start. Let me tell you the temperatures, theyre getting off to a great start. Usually for this time of year we start off in the upper 20 and is we get to the lower 40s by the afternoon. But, boy, were going to smash these temperatures with well above average conditions as we head on through the day. Sunset today, i want to point out 4 12 so hopefully you get to get outside and enjoy the warmth and a little bit of sunshine before that sunset. So unseasonably mild conditions will condition this weekend, thats what were going to be talking about. However, tomorrow its going to be about 10 degrees cooler than today so i would go with the pick of the weekend but still above average, and well be watching for the risk of a few showers. Best chance of rain, though, heads our way late monday into tuesday. Visibility this morning, there were some issues across parts of southwestern New Hampshire, even norwood for a time, but most of compared to yesterday morning when we were stocked into the fog there, its much better out there. Temperatures now in the 40s and 50s already. Almost near 60 in places like nantucket. Still cool on the north and west. Boston is at 51 right now, and the wind is going to be out of the southwest to the west throughout the day today with a mix of sun and clouds. Anticipate your temperatures to climb into the mid to upper 50s by the afternoon and then as we head into the evening, staying mild too if you have plans in boston. So just be prepared. Youll notice more clouds, though, thickening up as we go on through the day. Highs today, well take this for december. Mostly in the 50s with that wind out of the west. Weve got mild air in place, but were watching this backdoor cold front and this is the front thats going to sink south wards through the overnight hours and into the day tomorrow. That will bring the cooler weather into the region. Notice by 8 00 tomorrow, there the winds are going to turn out of the northeast and that will help draw in some of the cooler air. So about a 10degree difference from the north side of this front to the south. Very mild in places like new york. Still could be near record breaking. As we head on through the day, youll notice there you go, you can see a few break in the cloud cover. But more clouds than for the day today, and temperatures get stuck in the upper 40s to middle 50s. This front, i want to point out is going to start to move back northward by monday. It may take a while, though, so temperatures will be in the 40s and 50s throughout the day with a lot more clouds. The winds will be pick up out of the south, though. Could see some scattered showers before we have this cold front that will move on in later on in the day bringing windy and also very wet conditions. Rainfall total. Monday night into tuesday. 5 to 1 very possible. Notice the temperatures, though, will be seeing the 50s through the majority of the week. So despite this front coming on through, no real cold air is behind it. On thursday, though, and well see temperatures fall back into the 40s. Still above average. Over to you. As you said, no real cold air behind that she but it doesnt feel like christmas around here. I think well take a pass on that. Theyre either horrified or inspired to spend a little time with their lovedones. Its the length of a Super Bowl Ad almost. I kind of feel played here. It just doesnt seem right to be laughing when the man dies in the video. It just seems like a little cruel trick to viewers. I dont know german myself. Maybe theres a word for that emotion. What about these temperatures. How about them. The Storm Tracker meteorologist Sarah Wroblewski. Sarah, another great day to be outside. Weve got some clouds out there, but looking at the city i can see some breaks of blue as well. So we are anticipating to see the mixture of sun and clouds today. Were going to be dealing with some of these clouds and temperatures will really seem mild down across the southeast. Near 60 degrees. Cooler, 30s and 40s to the notorious right. Temperatures throughout the day today will be climbing into the 40s and 50s through the morning. Staying on the mild side down afternoon were all going to be into the 50s with a mix of sun and clouds. The clouds will begin to thicken up overnight tonight and in fact were going to watch that weather boundary slip southward and that will introduce some cooler air into the region for tomorrow. May also a spotty shower along the coast, but well ramp up the chance of rain as we head into monday. Im tracking a storm system that will bring wet and rainy conditions. Ill show you whats coming up in a bit. This morning the investigation does continue into thursdays runaway mbta train and heres what we know at this point. Govenor baker admits the operator made several mistakes on that redline train. One of those mistakes is a detail fox25 first reported. A cord was wrapped arent the trains accelerator. The mbta says the operator also did not set the brakes before stepping off the train. It put riders in a very dangerous situation. It goes without saying. Now the agency is sending out extra including reminder in writing about the rules. Fox25s Stephanie Coueignoux is live now from braintree station where this all started and stephanie, it incident is highlighting something of a communication gap during emergency situations like this one. And, eric, the big issue is this, the mbta has absolutely no way of communicating to passengers once they board that train. The runaway from thursday morning, well it left the station right here behind it and as you can imagine, again, just how concerning it was for people on board after they realized it just wasnt stopping. Now, that type of announcement, those are made by the conductors on board the train, but because again that conductor on thursdays runaway train had gotten off, there wasnt anyone to actually alert passengers as to what was going on. We wanted to know what other cities do and how they handle their their Public Transportation systems. What we learned in washington, d. C. Is their metro is run almost entirely by Remote Control, and dispatchers can actually make those announcements to passengers. In San Francisco, a similar system, but a conductor does have to be on board to turn on those special announcements and in new york they actually do not have the ability to communicate with passengers remotely. However, they do have two conductors on every train, so if one is unable to make those announcements, theoretically, the other one can alert passengers. Back here the braintree mayor says he is absolutely supporting ways to improve communicating with passengers, but does he say its important to make sure that its done properly. No question that i think we need to communicate more quickly and more defectively. However, we need to make sure that that information is accurate take a look at this video. Michael deleon was arrested on friday in quincy. Hes charged with the murder of Cristy Johnson and 60yearold retirere peter pit rewho was loved by neighbors who called him pops. Johnsons boyfriend was also shot and seriously injured. One neighbor says she heard johnsons boyfriend screaming for help. Im terrible. I havent slept. I know these people. Its very hard. You think youre okay in your own people in the face. Deleon will be arraigned on monday in chelsea district court. The injured victim is expected to survive. This morning a second arrest has been made in the shooting death of a manchester New Hampshire man. 21yearold Adrian Stilwell is charged with conspiracy to commit murder. And the accused trigger man 29yearold Michael Young. Authorities say young shot 37yearold Michael Pitman multiple times last month. Investigators believe the crime could be tied to gangs and drugs. Young is being held until a judge can determine whether there is proximate cause in the case. Happening today, several religious groups are getting together to hold a vigil as they search for ways to help end gun violence. I wanted to give them a little bit of a forecast. Looking at spring like skiing with temperatures in the 50s, a mix of sun and clouds. Temperatures tomorrow in the upper 40s. Really going to feel nice out there with the light wind. Right now what we have going on in boston. A mix of sun and clouds. Weve got those mid to high level clouds out there. Temperatures are steady in the lower 50s. All morning longs those winds out of the west, the visibility looking great. Temperatures havent budged too much. Weve got temperatures in the 30s to the north and west. 40s and 50s across the northeast. We have a weather boundary dropped right through our region and that is going to be the culprit for cooler air arriving tomorrow. Mix of sun and clouds. Highs once again in the 50s, about 10 to 15 degrees above average. If youve got plans later on tonight, still mild in boston. 51 at 7 00. Youre going to notice more clouds increasing, and overnight temperatures will fall back into the 40s. This is what you can expect for highs around the region. Mid to upper 50s down across the low to middle 50s the further north and west you go. Tonight we fall back into the 40s in a few spots. Places like norwood and port smith, but were really going to notice those clouds thickening up as that backdoor cold front pushes on through. Clouds will stay with us for the majority of the day tomorrow. But notice the difference in temperatures. Much cooler, upper 40s to mid 50s. About 10 degrees cooler than today. But above average. Usually we see temperatures in the lower 40s this time of year. Heres that weather boundary. Winds will turn on shore so i cant rule out some areas of drizzle, perhaps a shower along the coast were but a lot of us waking up to some clouds. The further north you go youre Morning Cloud cover. Sunday afternoon, noticing the mild air still to our south, so its not completely going away. In fact theres a storm system in the west thats going to continue to push east ward and as it does so it will push the boundary back. To see a lot of clouds, the risk of some showers and drizzle in the morning. Scattered showers throughout the day and then the warmth really comes in later in the day ahead of some very heavy rainfall in fact were talking about. 5 to 1 rain possible late monday into tuesday.
