Were right in front of the command center just being told to get down on our knees. We said our hands are up, dont shoot. And then we turn around and they start shooting. Crews reported hearing gunshots as official said shots were fired at police. Sinless county police say during the protest sunday, two people were shot stressing that the victims were not shot by police. The demonstration stemmed from the Police Shooting of Michael Brown earlier this month. The family requested an independent autopsy releasing preliminary results on sunday. The report shows the teenager was shot six times. Four times in the right arm and twice in the head. Last week police said they found he died of gunshot wounds but no details were offered after the first autopsy. Tour own tom negovan witnessed some of the chaos in ferguson himself. He says the protest started out peacefully, but that took a turn for the worse as it got later. Protesters were here to rally for peace and justice as to ask the people to not loot or destroyed or to engage in violence. Those people went home right about the time of night then they see those who want to engage in violent confrontations start coming out. Negovan said there came a point when some people came out just to cause trouble and loot. He says he even felt the effects of the tear gas that police were using. President obama plans to meet with attorney general eric holder today about whats been happening in ferguson. Yesterday, the Justice Department announced an autopsy by a federal medical examiner has been approved. This would be the third autopsy in this case. The first was done by the local coroner, and the second was done independently. That second autopsy revealed brown was shot six times, including twice in the head. Two people are dead and another is in Critical Condition after a shooting on the citys south side. It happened at ten last night in an alley behind the 400block of west 104th street in the fernwood neighborhood. A 26yearold woman and a 26 yearold man were dead at the scene. Another 26yearold woman was shot in the shoulder and taken to the hospital. The victims names have not been released. Investigators say the shooting may have been domestic. A toddler has died after being accidentally run over by his older brother at their home in joliet. Police say twoyear alex marivilla was killed saturday afternoon, when his 15yearold brother moved the familys su v out of their driveway. The brother had his learners permit and police say he heard a noise as he moved the car. He stopped and found alex on the ground. Police think the boy was trying to get in the suv on the passenger side and the brother did not see him. He was a sweet boy. My son played with him. A lot. I feel for the family and for the family going through this. Police are conducting a Death Investigation but they say this appears to be a tragic accident. Taking a look at the other top stories this morning. A one year old is hospitalized after falling from a second floor window on the west side. It happened just before five thirty yesterday in the 16 hundred block of south trumbull avenue. Police say the baby walked out the window while an air conditioning unit was taken out. The child suffered a broken jaw and cuts to the back of her head. The ceo of arrowstream who was shot by a disgruntled employee celebrated a birthday yesterday in the hospital and his wife says he continues to improve. Steven lavoie turned 55 and his daughters visited him for the First Time Since he was shot twice in his loop office july 31st by tony defrances. Last week lavoie was upgraded to serious condition. His wife posted an update online, saying each day he looks more like himself. A man from naperville who went missing in south dakota, has been found dead. 23yearold jordan baznik was on a road trip with friends when he vanished from his motel in a remote wilderness area august 6th. Searchers found bazniks car last tuesday in the black hills near keystone, south of mount rushmore. And friday, they found his body, less than a mile from a trail.
