Since then crews have been hoping for a miracle. 7s Kimberly Bookman is here now with more on the coast guards announcement. The coast guard will only be searching for a few more hours looking for any signs of survival, but families are Still Holding out hope, despite an intensive search, only one body has been found. The National Transportation safety board will lead the investigation in the ships sinking but coast guard Officials Say theyve done all they can to find survivors. I know that the coast guard along with our brothers in the navy and air force as well as commercial tugs out there, did all they could. All of our teams have been working around the clock to gather information and facts to determine what caused this accident. In order that we can prevent these accidents from ever happening again. Two men from massachusetts were among the 33 people who were on that ship. Family and friends are hoping that Keith Griffin of winthrop and Jeffrey Mathias from kingston are still alive. More than 400 roads and bridges are closed, and Governor Haley says the number is expected to arrive as floodwaters flow down towards the coast. And according an Associated Press investigation, gangs with ties to yawsh are trying to sell Nuclear Materials on the black market. The app says the gangs intent is to connect with isis and other middle eastern extremist groups. Reporter the implications are chilling. It was claimed there was a radioactive weapon and another incident this man said to have links to alqaeda crime and wanted to sell it for millions. Its a case of deadly exposure. A family says their toddler died after visiting a petty zoo at a county fair. They say the child contracted e. Coli. Reporter 20monthold colten was his parents pride and joy. He died monday. His father john guay says he was exposed to e. Coli while visiting the Oxford County fair. Over here weve got pigeons. Reporter Mark Anderson is a vet at a different local fair. He says he wants to prevent the future parents from the same tragedy. Theyve got to wash their hands when they come out of that petting zoo. You know, theyre they may pick up fecal nearly there. And so many of these decembers are fecal and spread, and we want the kids and their parents to be aware of that, and thats why we have these hand wash stations and all the signs. Reporter the reality is kids like 2 1 2yearold tatum love hugging the animals. Hes been coming here since hes been born. Looks like he really enjoy it is. Yeah, he really likes it. Reporter but most parents arent aware of the associated risk. You wouldnt think youre gonna catch a disease and could you lose your child coming to the fair. Reporter the state cdc confirms the second little boy who was also at the oxford fair of e. Coli. His condition is unknown. Experts say although what happened to colten is rare, parents cant be too careful. What happened to these toddlers is so rare. You know, obviously if this was an every day occurrence or anything even close, that we wouldnt have petting zoos but its an extremely rare event and i think it gives us all pause. A fitchburg man who was injured after he caught a shark back in july credits the shark for the ultimately saved his life. He went to the hospital and found cancer. The doctors were able to catch it early enough and it saved his life. Byron is live with more on his recovery. Yeah, eugene is definitely thanking his lucky stars. He just had successful cancer surgery here at st. Elizabeths Medical Center, but doctors here say they might not have been able to catch the cancer in time if it hadnt been for a shark that attacked him. Yeah, what happened was my daughter and i, we were out swimming in the big first break. Reporter Eugene Finney feels lucky today but he wasnt feeling that way in july when he was vacationing in huntington beach, california with his family. He says he was swimming with his daughter when a shark slammed into his back. I really had no idea what happened, but, you know, i knew Something Big hit me and i was pretty much instantly in pain, you know. I could feel the heat on my back. Something was burning. And i kind of looked back and i could see all the blood just dripping down my back. Reporter finney says he still had chest pain when he returned home to fitchburg a few days later. St. Elizabeths Medical Center in boston we says doctors found internal bruising from blunt force trauma, but they also found something else. They let me know that they had found a growth or a tumor on my right i kidney that was about reporter finney had surgery two weeks ago. He says st. Es doctors removed the tumor, then he says that shark attack saved his life. I think this incident saved my life. I think the shark was a messenger, you know, from god, from an angel looking out for me. This was a direct message to me, to get me to do something i normally wouldnt do. Well, finney says he feels hes been given a Second Chance at life, and he says hes not going to waste it. He says he wont be take hes going to try to be the best person he can be.
