Yesterday the president said that there is a definite possibility this crash was due due to a bomb. There were already plans for domestic flights but a further call for security for folks flying internationally. Sounding the alarm on Aviation Security there are more reports out that a russian jet likely crashed in egypt due to a bomb onboard. Already isis claimed responsibility for that attack twice. We cannot be certain that the Russian Airliner was brought down by a terrorist bomb. But it looks increasingly likely. If it is, its a gamechanger in terms of isis. Representative bill keating speaking at Logan Airport said it would be the first terror attack on aviation since september 11. He considered logan one of the most secure airports and says change is already coming. Before this incident, that been in the process of analyzing, taking a cold hard look at the inadequate nature of the security of our airports and weve already started making changes. Experts say the russian jet crash points to flaws in the system internationally. If it was bomb it was likely placed at an egyptian airport. Even with news tsa is considering increased security at u. S. Airports theres security concerns overseas and a call for new screening procedures for flights heading here. The Obama Administration is reviewing a number of steps we can take to enhance security for commercial flights bound for the United States. The weakest link in the network affects all of us across the country. The exact cause of that crash in egypt is still under investigation and officials from both egypt and russia said its just too early to officially say the cause of the crash was due to a bomb. Reporter we know for the First Time SinceDenise Robertss murder its the first time weve seen federal agents casing the neighborhood, possibly looking for more evidence. More than two months passed since the shooting death of Denise Robert. There have been no arrests or clues until now. Yesterday fbi scoured the crime scene searching with metal detectors, renewing hope for the family her killer will be found. Theres anxiety because people would like this to be solved right away. Its taking time. Robert, a longtime employee with the Union Leader Newspaper was shot and killed august 30th while taking her normal sunday evening walk in the same neighborhood where she grew up. We grew up in that end of town, not right next to the area but most of my brothers and sisters identify the north end of manchester as home base. She was comfortable with it. Robert appears to have been a random target. No one knows who or why anyone would have wanted to kill her. People who live in the manchester neighborhood hope the latest search means police are getting closer to making an arrest. Were very fortunate to live in a neighborhood that and in a city that cares that much for one person and she deserves to be her name to be kept alive until they find who did it. Jadiann right now Weymouth Police are investigating after a body was found near a local cemetery. The body was found in a wooded identification. The body has been taken in for an autopsy but foul play is not suspected at this time. Police are looking for potential suspects after a opening fire. He heard a noise and thought someone was breaking in. When he went out to check the house was on fire. He saw one suspect and shot at off. The suspects motive is unknown. Find whoever it is, yes. I cant see anybody putting any old persons house on fire. I gather there was an issue somewhere along the line. Detectives say the suspect cut the brake lines off the homeowners car. Christa investigators are searching for answers after they found a body in a burned out car in worcester. Fire crews discovered the body as they put out the fire on swan avenue wednesday night. New york Police Posted these pictures on twitter showing officials removing the wreckage from the water. The plane, heading for New Hampshire, crashed wednesday night. The plane was registered out of rye, New Hampshire. According to officials the plane took off from portsmouth and landed in philadelphia then took off again from philly wednesday before crashing in the water. The victim is james mcgee, seen here, he was the only person onboard. He was flying home to New Hampshire. Have seen multiple plane crashes over the years at that spot. The only wild card for us will be the second jet stream which will deliver cold into the northeast but i dont think it will be at extreme as last winter and as relentless.
