Police spent the night looking for shell cases and also for Surveillance Video. Boston police say they are confident that somebody out there knows something about this shooting, and they are hoping that person comes forward with that information. Eight days after being reported missing, 22yearold Nathan Carmen of vermont was found alive in the middle of the ocean. He was spotted bay chinese freighter sunday about 100 nautical miles from Marthas Vineyard. He was found in a life raft with a life jacket on and food and water. John car a narragansett early on the morning of september 18th on what was supposed to be a 12hour deepsea fishing trip, but 54yearold linda carmen did not make it into the inflatable life raft. When the boat started taking on water, he got his life raft, he went looking for his mom and he could not find her. My heart hurt because linda wasnt with him. Nathan was found sunday after the coast guard called off its sixday search friday after covering 62,000 square miles of york. Now in middleton, connecticut, where linda carmen lives and where nathan grew up, people are tying yellow ribbons to home, a sign theyre not giving up hope she could be alive. He had a loaded gun at the time of his arrest. Officers have been looking for him since last thursdays shooting. The Fire Department there says the flames have already destroyed more than 200 acres, than 300 homes. Many families have also been forced to evacuate.
