The Milwaukee County Election Commission is holding a mock election. Third through fifth graders at siefert elementary will be able to cast their votes. Heagganbrown has been charged with sexual assault. Prosecutors say he may have assaulted four people since 2015. The District Attorney hasnt decided yet if hell also face charges for smiths death. Smiths family says they welcome the news and theyre still hoping to get justice for their melinda a controversial proposal would cost every driver in Milwaukee County 60. Last night, the public weighed in on that idea and many people showed they arent happy about it. The county board held a Public Meeting last night to get input on the 2017 budget. Matt, thank you. Ben a gas pipeline explodes in alabama leaving one person dead and five others hurt. Pipeline says a construction crew caused the blast. Tim, what do we know about this situation . Tim Colonial Pipeline says a contract crew hit the pipeline with a trackhoe and thats what caused the explosion. This happened yesterday afternoon outside of birmingham. The company shut down their gas lines in the area after that blast. Officials say the smoke could be seen for miles. The explosion sparked at least three wildfire but no homes were in danger. The local sheriff is asking people to stay away until they can determine that the area is safe. Back to you. Melinda right now, protests are still going on over an oil pipeline in north dakota, but tomorrow, there could be progress toward a resolution. The leaders of seven tribes who are leading the protest against the pipeline are considering one possibility is a meeting tomorrow in bismarck, north dakota. Tim ben, the body camera was rolling when a santa fe Police Officer noticed that a parked car was on fire. 87yearold Deborah Spear was shes struggling to get out the car there. She says she didnt even notice the flames until an officer started yelling at her to get out. The officer carefully helped her out of the car and thankfully she was not seriously hurt. Police say the woman had been driving on a flat tire. It turns out the sparks from the rim hitting the ground caused the front of her car to start on fire. Spear says shes very thankful to the officer who saved her life. 5 53. A dog disappears in missouri and turns up wyoming. Her name mia. Shes a pure breed lab. She wonders off a lot, but not this far. A couple on their way to wyoming picked mia up along a rural highway. Once they arrived in wyoming, a shelter scoured social media, searching for mias family.
