This happened just before 3 am. Were told that there was a fight that led to the shots fired. And that the 34yearold victim drove himself to 4th and kilburn where he was able to flag down a passing squad car. He was then taken to the hospital and is expected to jersey. Officers say two men were when they got into an argument with a man on the sidewalk. During the argument. Police say a 65 year old man inside the van pulled out a handgun. And shot the man on the sidewalk. The victim was taken to the hospital where he died. The accused shooter and his friend then turned themselves in at the police station. Along with the gun. Atf agents have also been investigating the other burnt businesses this week. Theyre asking anyone with information to come forward. But both neighbors and city leaders are hopeful the community will rebuild. To work with them we would love to have them rebuild and to send the message and the reality that we wont coward because of this. 56 still no charges have been filed against the 41people arrested during the unrest. The District Attorneys Office tells us the felony cases are currently under review. The misdemeanor offenders are being told to come into the das office in a couple of weeks.
