Told me to get down and give him my money. My billfold was already on the ground. He put the gun right on that mother. Shes holding her little baby in her arms and he told her to give him the money. Kim brenda saw one of the three suspects hiding on the property. The guy was behind some chairs and everything. Kim deputies got under the deck and made arrest. Is one theyll never forget. Back outside, its business as usual. After this armed robbery. Three suspects were arrested. The man inside and also a man and a woman, all three were told were from columbia and are in the buncombe county jail. 2,300 was stolen from the store. A third person wanted in the case is now behind bars. Authorities arrested stephanie bower. Shes arrested in connection with a stabbing last month. Christopher arwood and Christopher Hester were also arrested in the case. Darcel it happened as they searched a bag of clothes that an officer was inspecting a pair of socks when a white powder came out and went in to the air. An investigator tested it and found it was meth. Deputies say the jailers were taken to the hospital to be checked out and all are okay. The primary concern in that was if Law Enforcement was doing what they needed to do and our jailer was doing what he needed to do. Primary concern was for our employees. Darcel Kenneth Blevins is charged. He was released on a 5,000 bond. Tammy waynesville leaders are looking for a new town manager. They voted this week to terminate the current town managers contract. Rex, what reasons are they giving . Oneil has done a good job. Creating a morale problem. The vote was close, 3 to 2, to terminate marcy oneils contract. Alderman gary caldwell, Leeroy Robinson sided with ending it. While he says many town employees like her, he says there is a significant number who are dissatisfied with her management style and decisions. He says, the lease in the building and our franchise in order to renew the franchise agreement, we would have to upgrade the store to a modern facility. It just wasnt feasible. He says the patton location was not one of its best performers. So they decided to move on. All of its wendys crew from this location are still working with the company. And its at other locations and nobody lost their job. He says they are grateful for all of their customers and look forward to seeing them at one of their many other locations.
