A federal judge ordered the tech giant to help investigators hack into the locked iphone of one of the shooters behind the terror attacks in San Bernardino. What the fbi wants apple to do and why apple says it will not go along with the ruling. Reporter two months later, federal investigators still the terrorist attack carried out in San Bernardino. The fbi is hoping a locked iphone can provide some answers and now they may get them. This ruling tuesday ordered apple to disable the security feature in the phone that automatically erases all data if an incorrect pass code is entered ten times. The federal judge looked at it and as it was in the best interest of safety, they are looking at the circumstances saying, apple, help the fbi out. Once apple disabled the feature, the fbi plans to use computers to break the pass code without running the risk of data loss. Agents hope it will help them figure out how the targets were encrypt and security are hot button issues in the tech world. Apples ceo talked about it in a recent 60 minutes interview.
