Mazzaglia was convicted of first degree m student. Prosecutors say he lured the teenager to his apartment and strangled her, then threw her body in the ocean never to be found. Defense lawyers claim marriott may have died during a consensual sexual encounter and her sexual history should have been explored at trial.
