Ray . Ray well, sean while the , results were very close, senator kelly ayotte did concede the race, giving up her chance to ask for a recount. The difference in the vote count was just 0. 1 . Governor hassan says the call from ayotte was warm and gracious. This also means that New Hampshire now has the first allfemale, alldemocratic congressional delegation in the country, with jeanne shaheen, and now governor hassan. The governor saying she looks forward to getting to work in washington representing the Granite State. Gov. Hassan i believe we are stronger when we listen to all voices and all perspectives. In other News State Police say , they found more than seven pounds of marijuana after stopping a car for speeding on interstate 95 in North Hampton this week. Police arrested the driver, 27yearold Nicholas Leone of pot. Troopers say the drugs are worth about 21,000. They also seized more than 31,000 in cash. Well more than 300 people have , now died from drug overdoses in New Hampshire this year. And the state medical Examiners Office says more than 2 3 of those cases involve fentanyl. Another 98 cases are still pending toxicology results, and officials are predicting nearly 500 Overdose Deaths in the state this year.
