This cell phone video showing officer fields approach her at her desk, grab her arm and put his arm around her neck. Eres a struggle. Police say she refused to go with them. She falls to the floor before being dragged to the front of the classroom. The district superintendent said they are deeply troubled and student safety is the priority. The officer is on administrative leave pending an internal investigation. The officer who is white is named as a defendant in a 2013 lawsuit that claims that he unfairly and recklessly targets africanamerican students with allegations of gang membership and criminal gang activity.
