Mississippi through alabama and georgia. It has weakened some, but the impact here tonight do not look like they have changed much as we headed to tomorrow. This is not the snow, and sleep we had a week ago. This is also not the Severe Weather outbreak we had five years ago that brought 30 tornadoes to the state. I got that question a few times tonight. It is our biggest threat of Severe Weather, so far this season. Even though it is still f ebruary. Tonight, all is calm, not a lot showing up on the radar, but it is still cloudy, foggy, misty and drizzly outside. Its still chilly. One of the things that is going to start this whole process that leads us into tomorrow is this warm front. That will move through, and bring us unusually warm weather around 70 degrees tomorrow. It is also going to bring us that unusual threat of Severe Weather in late february. This area of low pressure will slide over North Carolina, combined with the moist air and warm energized atmosphere to bring us the we remain under an enhanced risk. We very rarely go in and enhanced risk. Just lasted just last week we were under a slight risk but we bumped up to that third level enhanced risk in the past 24 hours. The worst weather will be through 10 a. M. And 6 p. M. That timing has not changed nor has the results. 70mile hour winds with the thunderstorms and some of those thunderstorms could produce tornadoes. Severe weather, like this, is never a slamdunk, but we all need to be weather aware tomorrow. I am most concerned about the winds. There is a very high chance we could have some of those damaging winds. There is a good chance we could have some tornadoes. This is not going to be a hail producing storm but wind, tornadoes and heavy rain all things i am watching out for. In addition to tomorrow mornings commute being foggy, not severe storms tomorrow morning, for the commute, but temperatures they warm from 48 at 6 a. M. Up to 57 at 9 a. M. Winds will start to kick up but it is just rain in the morning. Though severe storms later in the morning. I will take you through tomorrow hour by hour and talk about what the good weather will be, after the storm sleep tomorrow. We want to show you some of the damage from that wind. This is more video coming into our newsroom from st. James parish and the wheezing on about 50 miles south of baton rouge. And as we have been telling you all night and there are deaths associated with this storm system that is moving our way. Chief meteorologist, Wes Hohenstein tracking the Severe Weather that will impact us tomorrow. Scary stuff there, but as we head into tomorrow the storms that are hitting the south are not going to be the exact same thing when they get here. They will be a little bit weaker, but still capable of producing Severe Weather but we do not need to go into tomorrow being afraid of what is coming we need to be weather aware. This is one of those days where we will use those smart phones to our advantage. Smart phones are able to get weather alerts so when those warnings are issued we can be smart about it and move on to see the great weather weve got coming later this week. Tonight the calm before the storm. Not a lot showing up on the radar, there is still drizzle and mist, still followed and it is still chilly outside. We will undergo a lot of changes overnight, the storms are hitting our friends down in georgia, parts of alabama, still back in mississippi and louisiana. Look at this, they have snow in missouri, and parts of arkansas. We are not going to have snow, but even tonight the severe storms. The red box is here that is a Tornado Warning in southern parts of alabama, the yellow boxes you see sprinkled around those are severe thunderstorm warnings they are going to get some strong winds. There is even flood warnings. All of that could be in our recipe box tomorrow as the storm heads here. This all starts with warming temperatures overnight. We have been there at 45 degrees for the last eight hours. Just down i 40 into wilmington it is 60 degrees. Overnight, temperatures are going to hold may be even come up a couple of degrees as that warm air starts to push into central North Carolina. As it starts to get warmer and warmer tomorrow, our atmosphere is going to destabilize. The storms, later in the morning, rain for the morning commutes, and some foggy conditions. Look at our visibilitys right now. Most of us have his abilities that are less than 5 miles. It is going to be a foggy morning commutes, and yes it will be wet, but not stormy. We will start off at around 40 degrees at 6 a. M. By 9 a. M. We leap up to 57, then 65 at noon on our way to a high of 70 degrees. That is 25 degrees warmer than where we were today. That type of drastic warmup, in february, means we are going to have some drastic wind. We are going to have some drastic storms possible especially as we had to around lunchtime. Even outside of the thunderstorms we are going to wind gusts up to 45 Miles Per Hour for almost everyone and that is why we have a wind advisory in effect between 9 a. M. And midnight tomorrow. A very busy weather day. As i mentioned, it all gets started after this warm front pushes through. Pushing away the cool air, the cool stable air, and bringing in the warm unstable air and matters will not be helped because this area of low pressure will come right over us. If you think about it, its an area of low pressure that in a dip different type of Winter Weather situation brings us k now. This is a totally different situation. It is a rain event and storm event at times. At 6 a. M. You can see many of us having wet weather, some storms are to come in from the south, you see this intense line of rain right here, from 1 012 oclock that will push through to the north. And then out of the west will come another line of storms that will push through. That could produce some damaging wind gusts and maybe even an isolated tornado ahead of the cauldron. I through, and then b
