Reporter tonight officials here at the Orange CountySheriffs Office are calling the victims and her boyfriend persons of interest in their investigation, and theyre asking the public to be on the lookout for would he both of then. Deputies at the Orange CountySheriffs Office tell us a 81yearold man was discovered stabbed to death in his own home. Deputies discovered the victim in his home here on third street around 9 45 last night. After the Fire Department went to do a wellbeing check. Neighbors were stunned. I was really not feeling good about it because it was just unusual for Something Like this to happen to this guy. Sheriffs deputies say the victims daughter, 45yearold and her boyfriend, a 53yearold, are considered persons of interest. The Sheriffs Office also released this photo of a car they say looks similar to the victim 2006 ford taurus that the couple is believed to be driving in. They also say the victims gun may be in the car. Neighbors in this community were saddened to learn of the elderly mans death. His neighbor across the street tells us hes known him for more than 30 years and considered him a friend. Hes the type of person i could rely on. Now deputies are asking anyone who knows knows the whereabouts of the couple to call law enforcement. For somebody to do Something Like that to him, i still feel bad about it. He said he woke up to Text Messages on his phone, voicemail messages on his phone saying that he was wanted. He immediately made arrangements to turn himself in to law enforcement. Daytona beach police say security broke up the fight, but it then continued outside.
