Reporter walter, family members say her name is nijay seely, she was not the intended target and now her family is struggling to make sense of the gun violence that took her life. Reporter eighteen yearold was with friend when she got caught in the fire and gunshots in southford street, hit by a stray bullet she died at the hospital. It happened around 4 30 in heightsville, maryland 8 miles east of the nations capitol. The officer, identified as jicai colson was one of two people shot where he was born in boothwyn, Delaware County a and went to chichester high school. He was a four year veteran of the force and would have turned 29 this week. Two suspects have been taken in custody. What led up to the shooting is still unclear.
