Philadelphia Police
officer shot a man robbing a elderly person in olney. Viewer video shows us the scene this afternoon moments after the suspect was shot. It happened at 2 00 p. M. On the 5700 block of park avenue. Officials say during the robbery the officer identified himself and told the suspect to drop his weapon. That is when the suspect allegedly pointed a gun at the officer who fired a shot. A foot chase ensued, and the suspect pointed a gun at the officer again. The officer return fire, this time, hitting the suspect who died a short time later. He kept saying dont move, dont move. He started screaming. They call 911. He had a chrome, 32, chrome something, a chrome revolver. The officer involved was not injured. Police say robbery victim suffered minor injuries and coming up in the next half an hour we will have more on what that witness we heard from actually saw through this whole ordeal. A threeyear old girl was killed during a crash in

today. It happened at about 4 30 this afternoon in hanover township. Police say two cars were involved in the crash, near the intersection of airport and shaneersville road. The coroner says the threeyear old was eject from the vehicle. No word tonight on if the toddler was strapped in the car seat and no further details have been released at this time. Police say a 25 yearold man is dead after his car plunged, into the schuylkill river, early this morning. This is was the scene shortly before 3 00 a. M. In east falls. Investigators tell us the driver failed to negotiate the turn there on to kelly drive and somehow ended up in the water. By the time rescuers got the man it was too late. Victim has not been identified. Police in philadelphia are searching for the person who robbed a mcdonalds earlier this morning at city avenue in overbrook. The it happened at 4 30 a. M. Investigators say a man with a gun stole money and a cell phone from employees there before running off.
