A heat wave has now gone for seven days now, the good news is it peaked already. The worst of it was saturday when the heat index rose all the way up to 111 but seven days ties as the longest heat wave of the year in late july and this heat wave has the potential to last five more days but temperatures will be in the low 90s and the humidity tomorrow will not be as high as today. The highest heat index in philadelphia rose up to 106 degrees today. Tomorrow the heat index should be below 100 so we do not have excessive heat warning and is good news.
