We have another issue if youre trying to make your way off of the ben franklin bridge to head into philadelphia, this is coming off the ben franklin bridge westbound at seventh and girard. We have police activity. Looks like a tractortrailer blocking two center lanes so definitely a major issue tonight if youre going to be traveling near the vine street expressway but the ben franklin bridge itself because of that accident is seeing big westbound delays pretty much from the toll plaza and that could even trickle down to the 42 freeway so expect delays now from the 42 freeway all the way out through to that accident on the vine street expressway. The way the sixers are playing it looks like they could beat anyone with or without the big guy. Joel he embiid says he feels so good he could play 40 minutes tonight on national tv but the real question is will he play a single minute. Hes hoping to play tonight against the houston rockets. Embiid will not play in the allstar game after failing to get voted in as a reserve which his teammate mcconnell calls app travesty. Embiid said today i thought i deserved it. Im a bit disappointed. Guys that made it deserved it and im young so im going to get a lot of chances so im not disappointed. Joel he definitely deserved to be in it. Hes played a great. Hes done a lot for the team in the minutes he played. Its kind of unfortunate he wasnt able to get in but theres always other years for him to do it. With or without him the sixers they are on a tear. They won 10 of their last 13 games and only two teams in the nba have more wins in the month of january isnt that. Kind of just a care free mentality. We want to take care of the ball better but just playing free and playing to our and strengths has i think helped all of us out. Well, no the only do the sixers have everyone raising their caps with the way theyre playing but people are raising eyebrows like jay wright who is in awe of their transformation. Im amazed by two things. I cannot believe how good joel embiid got in two years, not playing. Its incredible. And how brett brown has kept such a positive vibe on this team over the last three years and thats why theyre playing this way now. Villanova getting ready for another game on the sixers floor come sunday against 12th ranked virginia. The flyers are at the allstar break clinging to a one point lead in the wild card playoff standings and general manager ron he hextall says they have the ability to get it done. Wayne simmonds scored that are a season high three straight. I like the way we played all three games and for us i think its just keeping that that mindset, you know, that attack mindset and not setting back and not making mistakes. Theyre back at it on tuesday. A little bit of a break here but hopefully when they come back they can get right back into this form the way theyve been playing the last three games. Thank you. Mother of a chicago pairs player pleading for help tonight after she lost her tickets for the super bowl. And police say the ma and who and found them was caught on camera putting them in his pocket. Sunday night increasing clouds. Sunday night into monday morning, weak disturbance could toss a few flurries our way nothing really significant but it will drop the temperature down to 36 degrees and tuesday im tracking a clipper up to the north. That could bring a few snow showers generally north of philadelphia on tuesday night, a high of 39 degrees. Wednesday as we begin february clouds with some sunshine, 42 degrees. Another cold front flips through dry behind that system for february 2nd. Ground hog day, it will be brisk and colder with a high of 38 degrees and friday loads of sunshine but temperatures definitely on the cool side with a high of 36, so generally the next week going to be very cold but pretty quiet, no major storms.
