We can see the crews on the scene overturned tractortrailer here so theyre going to have to get a heavy duty tow truck to upright the tractortrailer before theyre able to pull this out of here and reopen this ramp. So, instead of i95 southbound to the blue route what youll need to do is take exit 95 southbound at 420, take that to macdade boulevard to the blue route northbound or i95 southbound to 320 and you can take that to macdade to the blue route so that ramp from i95 southbound to the blue route completely blocked with this overturned tractortrailer. Undercover officers chase a group of men they believe had just kidnapped a woman in the citys Port Richmond section. They found the woman safely plus one kidnapping suspect. Others got away. Action News Reporter Katherine Scott live along the 2400 block of aramingo avenue where that woman was abducted. Katherine. Reporter thats right, matt. Police say the 25yearold woman was just walking out of work last night at this Shopping Center when she was abducted at gunpoint. She is okay. She was not injured in all this. She was very shaken up, though, according to police. Police are still looking for at least three suspects. They do have one in custody. Lets go to video from overnight on emory street in Port Richmond. This was on the 2600 block of emory less than a half a mile away from here. This is the victims toyota that the suspects forced her into. Plainclothes officers were tipped off that there was going to be an abduction from a Shopping Center on the 2400 block of aramingo. They were told the suspects would be in a red Jeep Cherokee and they knew the license plate number so Police Rushed over. First they saw that red Jeep Cherokee with four to five people inside and then they witnessed two of the suspects who approached a 25yearold woman who was leaving work. They forced her in the back seat of her toyota. They drove off. Plainclothes officers followed the toyota but Police Believe the suspects flu they were being followed and then sped off. The suspects then spun out of control on emory, they got out of the car, jumped over some fences and fled. The motive here is that under investigation. Police believe this crime could be connected to other os and police do believe that the victim was targeted. They threatened her, saying that they had her children and thats what scared her and caused her initially to when she was approached by these individuals, caused her initially to listen to what they were saying. Reporter and as it turns out her children were fine. They were never touched according to police p police also had tried to follow that Jeep Cherokee the other suspects were in. They lost sight of it but they recovered it later. Both vehicles are being held for evidence. But again at this hour they have one person in custody. Theyre still looking for more. Live at Police Headquarters Katherine Scott. Homicide detectives are trying to figure out who gunned a man down in the citys frankford section. This happened just after 9 00 last night on the 4800 block of tackawanna street. The man believed to be in his late teens to early 20s was shot multiple times in the chest, neck and head. Medics rushed that victim to the hospital where he died. And a fiveyearold boy is recovering after being hit by a pickup truck in wilmington. He was trapped underneath the truck on the 1200 block of linden street last night. The action cam was there as the youngster was pulled out and taken to the hospital by ambulance. Hes currently being treater at a. I. Dupont hospital in serious but stable condition.
