We are expressing the range of feelings from shock, sadness, to anger, to terror, to determination that this be stopped. These ukrainian americans have been dealing with turmoil back home for months. Worry has been mounting about loved ones and friends. Theyre saddened by yesterdays tragedy but hope it will move americans and the rest of the world to pay more attention to the conflict and intervene. I am asking my fellow americans,ism asking other communities, please join us not only today, but please send us, talk to your representatives. People are starting to realize that this is a turning point. That this is something that could possibly, you know, be something of a gamechanger. It is ultimate act of disrespect for both the dead and living. Dozens of monuments and tombstones in this Historic Cemetery toppled by vandals. Why do they do this stuff . Maria almost collapsed when she got word her mothers tombstone was knocked over, she was laid to rest in 1982. Always a peaceful resting place until now. I dont know sh, cant even e a peace in the ground in america. And the caretakers believe the vandalism happened tuesday night. 72 stones. Estimating it will take upwards of 25,000 to have them uprighted and repaired. Tough have a crane to upright them, but also somebody skilled in stonework to make the repairs needed. The cemetery 42 acres on both side of Market Street in wilmington, here almost 150 years. Six years ago a group of volunteers got together to bring it back to its former glory after it fell on hard times. They put a lot of time and effort into the project. So far the police dont have any suspects, but they figured it had to be more than one person. It took a lot of effort to topple these heavy monuments and tombstones in here. The driver of a dump truck has been charged in a fatal crash in lawrence township. The scene yesterday afternoon near the intersection of brunswick avenue and lake drive. They say Daniel Everett hit a car and pushed the vehicle into the water. The car was submergeled and the driver, 59 year old james mclean of trenton was killed. Witnesses say everett was driving erratically and at a high rate of speed when the crash happened. Never almost every single arrest will be caught on camera. The officers purchased body cameras and they will wear them to record interactions with the public. Studies have shown that documenting police and suspect behavior can dramatically reduce the number of complaints filed against officers. We thought it was an extremely aspect of this product.
