They sell action news that the student posted a threat on social media this morning, he was tracked down and pulled out of class and arrested. This morning students here at Widener University, received a text alert from officials warning them that police were investigating a threat to the main campus, posted on an app called yik yack. I dont have a yik yack but heard about it and was very nervous for it. The person that posted the expletive filled message said he would shoot everybody he hates who bully him every day, and referred to other Mass Shootings including columbine. When i saw that it was scary because they referenced other Massive School shootings. The District Attorneys Office put a team of forensic analysts to work immediately and traced an ip address to a Campus Computer linked to a students cell phone, that student was removed from class and take and into custody. He did break down and confess that he did post the threatening message to the university population. Yik yack touts itself you can post anonymous messages only to be seen by people in a certain radius. This is very Serious Business now, if you make a threat to an institution or to an individual even, we are going to respond rapidly.
