We have breaking news right now out of Gloucester County. This is the scene in Franklin Township in the 400 block of harding highway where firefighters are responding to an active fire right now. This is apparently a chicken coop burning also on route 40 again in Franklin Township. Apparently 911 calls were coming in, reports of a brush fire in the area. When crews arrived they discovered it was a chicken coop. No word at this point if any animals have been injured as a result but we just lost the shot. Rafael rabb lost his bid for Early Release in norristown. He killed his exwife ellen rabb inside their king of prussia home back in 2006. Now that the parole bordenave his request, the Montgomery County d. A. s office says robb will likely serve the rest of his 10 year sentence. One person is dead after a car caught fire on a south jersey highway today and police are still trying to figure out how it all happened. Chopper6 was over route 55 in Franklin Township where police say a car caught fire just before 8 oclock this morning. Police say they showed up to find the car in flames and the driver had already passed away. They have not told us the have ick tims name. They also say there are no obvious signs that this car was in an accident prior. Rescue crews had to help out today in Delaware County after police found a car in the water there. Chopper6 was over Stevens Drive in tinicum township where a car went into darby creek. Police say the driver was on i95 when he went off the road and into the water. Hes in the hospital and is expected to make it. Police have not told us his name, either. Robert wilson, iii was the first Philadelphia Police officer to receive this National Award when he was killed in action last year he was 30 years old, the father of two. Reporter at the white house the president awarded the Public Safety officer medal of valor to 12 officers deputies and agents who survived dangerous encounters. One however was given posthumously to philadelphia Sergeant Robert wilson, iii. On a day in 2015 wilson was inside this game stop store when two Armed Robbers entered. Two men opened fire in a video store where Sergeant Wilson was buying his son a birthday present. To his family who is here, his grandmother constance, his brother and sister, please know how deeply sorry we are for your loss. At the time of his death officials said by not moving for cover in the gun battle he drew the fire away from customers and staff huddled behind the counter. Then farther west another complication another broken down vehicle by 202 in king of prussia blocking one of the express lanes there but you can see the slower speeds at this point are on the eastbound side of the schuylkill as you come off 202 and do that infamous merge, other people coming away from pennsylvania turnpike it always clogs up in that neck of the wood. Can coming into pennsylvania from new jersey, problems on the scudder falls bridge this afternoon here along 95 southbound. Its an accident taking out the right lane right on the bridge so everyone is funneling into that left lane and things are slow going coming out of Mercer County as a result. Federal investigators are in south texas working to determine what caused a charter bus to crash. Eight people were killed and 44 others were injured when the bus rolled over on saturday. They will spend they have been spending the day networking getting Career Coaching attending workshops all to begin their very promising futures and make no mistake, they know their paths may cross again in the future so theyre also checking out their competitors in a friendly way. The normal now is 74, so what we felt on saturday is a little more typical than the last 48 hours. In fact, days with High Temperatures in the 50s for philadelphia, weve had six so far this month going halfway through the month. We havent had that many days stuck in the 50s for highs since 1978 and temperatures right now are averaging close to 4 degrees below normal. Presently its 65 for allentown, reading, lancaster. Those areas started in the 30s this morning, so a pretty decent recovery. 64 in millville so pretty uniform everywhere even at the shore with those winds out of the north and west. In fact, still gusting right now to 30 miles an hour in philadelphia, 26 in millville, near 30 at the Atlantic City airport and 25 for reading as well as lancaster. As we look at satellite and radar, Crystal Clear sky right now but clouds are increasing to the south and west. This is ahead of a frontal boundary that will be pushing in from the south late tonight in the form of clouds and then eventually some rain tomorrow. So, lows tonight will be a good 10 or so degrees warmer than last night. 46 in the lehigh valley, 48 in wilmington. 51 philadelphia. 50 for dover and its due in part because of those clouds coming in acting like an atmospheric blanket its a dry start to your Tuesday Morning rush hour. The clouds are here so not dealing with sun glare but the showers will increase during the morning into the early afternoon hours at 1 30 as some of these showers pass by, not a lot of heavy rain but another cloudy, dreary, damp day. In fact as we look at that four day at 4 00 forecast tomorrows temperature 62 degrees as showers develop. Early showers on wednesday will give way to a brighter afternoon, 66 degrees and the end of the week is a winner. Sunny, nice both thursday and friday with temperatures right where they should be 72 to 74 degrees. But then major changes arrive here in time for the weekend.
