Lots of clouds and there will be some showers around so not perfect at 8 oclock, 75, by 10 oclock, 71 degrees but there is some heavy rain that will be moving in after the fireworks are over and this heavy rain moving in after midnight so the National Weather service has posted a Flash Flood Watch for entire viewing area from midnight until 10 oclock tomorrow morning. Some of the rain could be heavy enough to cause some localized flooding. This is what to expect. An overnight soaker and then middle of the week through the weekend were looking at a heat wave and this could be a tough one with a heat index near 100. The festivity included a cake and 2500 patriotic cup cakes from termini brothers bakery and of course an appearance by betsy ross cutting the cake right there and declaring this a delicious fourth of july. Wilmington, newark and dover, delaware, have all decided to reschedule their fourth of july plans. Newark has rescheduled for tomorrow. The concert and fireworks on the riverfront in wilmington will now be held on saturday august 20th and dover will celebrate on saturday september 3rd. The festivities kicked off at kings highway and Chestnut Street ending in Haddonfield Memorial High School for app special ceremony. Today was an extra special celebration in East Lansdowne Delaware County. It marked their 100th Independence Day parade. The parade honored eight former School Teachers who taught and lived in the borough. Red, white and blue took over off and on hill castle in doylestown bucks county this afternoon. Reporter almost overnight septa lost 13,000 rail seats in its 120 newest rail cars. So on a normal weekday, 65,000 people may ride the rails, so its estimated tomorrow its likely only 35 to 40,000 may find a seat on a train. Among the options, take buses, trolleys or other septa mass transit. One possibility, drive to south philadelphia and park in one of the 1600 Parking Spaces at old navy hospital. Then walk to the broad street subway. The message to riders, be flexible. We have a very vast Transit Network with all our rail lines, the subways, our 118 bus routes, we really are encouraging our Regional Rail riders if they can, to move towards, you know, the other opportunity other parts of our system. Reporter well, this all could last weeks, possibly months were told, so if you stick with Regional Rails, for rush hour traffic, trains are likely to be very crowded tomorrow, not necessarily will they leave on time were told. But the normal high is 87, so definitely on the cool side and also a little bit on the humid side. Philadelphia the dewpoint is 61. So, a little bit muggy but you can see how its trending a lot higher. Areas to the south wildwood, the dewpoint 68 and in dover, 70 degrees and that humidity will be increasing in the overnight hours and especially through the week. If you look across Northern Virginia you can see one band of rain, theres low pressure over West Virginia and that will be moving right over our region overnight tonight. So, what this means, well have a lot of clouds, well have some showers around for your fireworks forecast. That steadier rain arriving after midnight, overnight low 67 in the suburbs, 70 for center city and were looking at the potential for some heavy rain. In addition to that temperatures in the 90s so get ready for a heat wave. So, the four day at 4 00 showing tomorrow well be looking at the rain moving out early in the morning, then clouds breaking with some sunshine. It will be warm and humid with a high of 88 but then on wednesday, the temperatures bumps up into the 90s. 93 degrees on thursday likely the peek of the heat wave, 95, the heat index around 100 with some popup afternoon thunderstorms.
