Well, there are just 36 days until election day and on the campaign trail the big talk today Donald Trumps taxes. The republican nominee made his first public appearance since the New York Times published his tax records from 1995. That report shows that trump lost nearly a billion dollars in that single year and that he may have avoided paying federal income taxes for years. He spent the morning in virginia and at his First Campaign event of the day no mention of those tax records or the New York Times report. Instead, a focus on Cyber Security and a shot at his democratic rival Hillary Clinton. Hillary clintons only experience in Cyber Security involves her criminal scheme to violate federal law, engineering a massive coverup and putting the entire nation in harms way. Now, trump did call the leak of his tax returns illegal. Again, in 95 he took nearly a billion dollar loss following the collapse of his Atlantic City casinos, his airline and the purchase of the plaza hotel in new york city and while he was following the law, he could have avoided paying those federal income taxes for nearly two decades. So, today while trumps is your gates are calling him genius for taking advantage of the tax code, Hillary Clinton who was talking economics and her plan today in toledo, ohio he had other choice words for it. Heres my question. What kind of genius loses a billion dollars in a single year . This is trump to a t. Hes taken corporate excess and made a Business Model out of it. He abuses his power, games the system, puts his own interests ahead of the countrys. Its trump first and everyone else last. Meanwhile the Vice President ial candidates are gearing up for their first and only debate. If people arent riding they arent paying of course. You add in the cost of leasing replacement rail cars and according to septa it costs them about 7. 7 million for july and august alone.
