Breaking right now, Philadelphia Police say the victim of a Home Invasion on friday in juniata park wasnt found until last night and when the person was discovered they were badly injured. Katherine scott is live on the 4200 block of neilson street with the details. Good morning, katherine. Reporter good morning, tam, police are investigating the motive behind this. Police believe the Home Invasion happened on friday, but the victim, 50 years old was not found until yesterday by a concerned family member. This is the home where this happened in juniata park. Were told the victim was a Small Engine Repair shop where he works in the garage of his home on the 4200 block of neilson street. On friday, two men entered the property wearing mask and gloves and forced the victim upstairs to the second floor bedroom where he was beaten and left with a rag stuffed in his mouth. Both men fled the scene. Apparently the victims brother grew concerned when the victim didnt turn up for a family eventful weekend he went to the house around 40 00 p. M. He climbed up to a second floor window and found his brother inside. His brother was badly injured his brother took the victim to the hospital. Surveillance cameras were found outside and inside the property. I am told by police they were working at the time this happened. Detectives are looking for two suspects and they are trying to gather more information. They dont know what the motive was here, they dont know if anything was taken. Breaking this morning, a man was pistol whipped during an attempted robbery in the citys East Oak Lane section on the 6600 block of north 6th street at 12 30 a. M.
