It is blocked off as Police Continue to investigate the home. The home is mid block and detectives have been coming and going all morning after four people were shot, three of them fatally. Lets look at the video from early this morning. Police say it started around 3 30 a. M. When an argument broke out at the home in the 600 block. One man pulled out a shotgun and shot his brother and his brothers girlfriend killing all three. Another man was shot in the arm and escaped and found in the 500 block of west more lands street. He was taken to temple hospital. The suspect called police and told them he shot someone. When police responded, the suspect wouldnt come out of the home and wouldnt let police in thats when the s. W. A. T team was called in. A homicide detective who was trained in hostage negotiations spoke to the suspect on the phone for two hours when the suspect hung up. Police entered the home and discovered the three bodies and took the suspect into custody. Its the second barricaded situation where we had overnight and both instances, detectives from Homeland Security unit and hostage negotiators working with police radio were able to talk the subject out without any use of force or injury to police or civilians. Its been a long night, unfortunately, here its been quite a tragic night. Reporter police say the second barricade situation was in the northeast and not connected to this one. Police have not released the name of the suspect and were waiting on the names of the victim. Well have more information on the developing story as details become available. Police in Cumberland County are investigating a shooting that sent a man to the hospital in critical condition. The action cam right there at the scene at 8th and cherry streets in vineland. Shots were fired at 1 30 a. M. The victim was shot several times. So far police have not released a motive or suspect information. An ems crew was in the right place at the right time when fire broke out at an Apartment Building in Camden County. The crew happened to be across the street from the mansion apartments in pine hill when the fire started. Several residents were trapped by the twoalarm blaze. The ems ran to the burning building and rescued several people. Mark conover was at the complex with his sister and daughter when he saw a woman screaming for help. Reporter i saw the older lady she was on the second floor, she was screaming for help, i scaled the side of the building and was trying to get her down, but she was frightened, so she was clinching the railings, so i like had to pull her arms to get her off, after i did that, i lifted her over the rail and just handed her down to the police. Three people were taken to the hospital for treatment. It took 100 firefighters about an hour and a half to gain control of the blaze. 8 apartments are destroyed. The red cross is helping about two dozen people find temporary shelter. The cause is under investigation. Four homes were damaged by a fouralarm blaze in lancaster late last night. A viewer sent us the pictures of the flame pouring from the roof of the home. When the firefighters arrived, they found someone on the roof screaming for help. They raised the ladder and rescued that person. A total of five families are without homes. The Fire Marshalls Office is searching for what sparked the blaze. A community in sensing kensington is grieving after a 4yearold girl was shot and killed by her 5yearold sibling. Police say the little girl was shot in the chest and died at the scene.
