Back at that Church Parking lot today, investigators deployed a bloodhound to pick up the trail of that potential suspect. This is the last known sighting of that man and theyre trying to figure out why he brought the stolen car here and what he did after he set fire to it. That was pot collins reporting. Reporter the woman didnt want to be identified on camera and refer to her as nelly. Nelly has been working for the homeowners for more than two decades. She owns the cleaning company and allowed her friend to work with her at the home so she could make a living. Nelly called her friend vera. Nelly says vera was a close friend of hers and hard working and loved life. Vera came to this country from el salvador to earn money before retiring next year. She said she wanted to work for the family and planned to get off of work at 3 00. But vera never made it out of that home alive. And she send me to a text message that shes not coming with me. That shes going to washington to the woodland to the family. To work over there. And she say, yeah because every time when you take me i always get home late. Surveillance video shows the man police say attacked a girl at an Apartment Building hallway last wednesday. Friday afternoon Prince Georges County police say the girls mother confronted that suspect but he got away. The man is africanamerican had a tattoo of the world blessed on his neck. Investigators say the pair went into a home on the 11000 block of stone view square yesterday afternoon after an altercation day who was in the apartment at the time was shot and killed. Reporter jim, you know an old virginia law made it illegal for a lot of food trucks to be on virginias streets. Youd have to come here to a popup park to find a food truck but now a change. You see, an old state law made it impossible for these food trucks to operate on many state roads meaning trucks had to find popup parks or get creative. Are we ready . President obama thanked First Responders for their work in the deadly amtrak derailment up in philly. He met with them briefly on the way to an event in new jersey today. Amtrak service between philadelphia and new york resume resumed earlier today. Officials with amtrak says crews made infrastructure repairs along the busy northeast corridor. If you live in maryland and pay income taxes in other states you may be getting a refund. The Supreme Court upheld a lower courts decision today that ruled a tax in the state is unconstitutional. The tax allowed maryland residents to deduct out of state income but did not apply that deduction to taxes for local governments. Maryland argued the tax paid for Services Like public schools. The courts decision could cost the state about 200 million in refunds. The Supreme Court also weighed in on a Class Action Lawsuit involving those automated text messages. Reporter Scott Tomaszewski is a loner, lives here in the house behind me on ridge drive with his mother father and brother. Its just up from the vilardos home. Now, most of the people who live in this neighborhood couldnt tell me a thing about the family or scott but the vilardos apparently knew him and in the past trusted him to take care of their home.
