Hes at Police Headquarters with more on this story. Reporter jim, he is 17. He lives in the district. His exgirlfriend is 17. She lives in 180 rounds of ammunition. They say he threatened to kill his exgirlfriend. He threatened to kill her entire family. He threatened to shoot up her high school. According to Court Documents obtained by news4, the 17yearold threatened his exgirlfriend. He said he was going to her house and would kill her entire family and bring friends to watch. He said he was going to her school, Eleanor Roosevelt high, and shoot it up. He said he was going to her mothers workplace, shoot it up, and kill her mother. Police say he also took pictures of his exgirlfriend conducting sexual acts and posted them online because she wouldnt date him again. At a News Conference about guns and violence today, police chief cathy lanier talked about how the police gun Recovery Unit moved in to stop this. The gun Recovery Unit worked with that young woman through the night, found an on call emergency judge and got a search warrant. Reporter police searched this house in northeast washington. According to court papers, thats where they recovered the Assault Rifle and ammunition and other items of evidence. Now police are working to charge the 17yearold with child pornography and threats of mass violence. Doreen, back to you. Democrats ended their unprecedented sitin on the house floor declaring they raised the gun issue in the upcoming election. Senate republicans reversed themselves, allowing more votes on gun measures.
