Dawson was wounded and taken to the hospital for treatment. Hes been diagnosed as suffering from schizophrenia and delusions. Turns out hed been at the capitol before protesting in support of the 15 minimum wage. He claimed to be a prophet of god. He claimed god was telling him what to do. Shawn keon is accused of stealing a car in roanoke, driving into a white house checkpoint on saturday and saying he had a trunk. He claimed he had an appointment with President Trump and told them the bomb was really an asteroid. Keon was in the navy for six years. He was an Aviation Electronics technician and left the as much as service back in 2014. William raulerson was on the north side of the white house and got between the fence and the security barrier. He was shouting nonsensical statements. Secret Service Officials are discussing that First White House Security Breach since President Trump took office. Scott macfarland is following the developments are from the newsroom. Weve learned that meeting is happening right now inside a private secured Capitol Office space. They want to have answers to what happened when that 16minut occurred at the white house march 10th during which a california man made it all the way to the south lawn before he was stopped. The committee has ordered secret service to bring its security logs and surveillance. Reporter today a student was stabbed while walking in front of the school with his masonry class preparing to fix this wall on School Grounds when the principal says he made eye contact with the suspect who is 18yearold nathaniel coats. Did not like the way a student looked at him and he stabbed him. Reporter a teacher quickly stepped in. The teacher was present. There was always an adult present with the kids. He tackled the young man that stabbed the young man and was able to get security out right away to arrest the young man. Reporter this teacher was a hero to jump on top of this guy with a knife. Coming up, a look at who i 11 people are now behind bars and large quantities of drugs have been seized. Police in Northern Virginia are hoping their bust of an alleged heroin ring will mean fewer overdoses in the month ahead. Bureau chief julie carey has been taking a closer look at the investigation that started last march. Reporter these are ten of the 11 suspects just arrested in what authorities dubbed operation purple rain, an investigation launched around the time the musician prince died of an overdose. It was a rash of overdoses in alexandria that spurred the yearlong probe. Joining state and local police from virginia and maryland. Now the suspects stand accused of racketeering and conspiracy to distribute more than a kilo of heroin. Lives will be saved because they are no longer dealing. Reporter seized in raids last week, ten firearms, more than 400 grams of heroin, 330 grams of cocaine, pcp and marijuana also found along with 18,000 in cash. This is one of the alexandria houses searched. 78yearold bernice man was in tears as i spoke with her today. Her two sons duane and tony man face charges. While she admitted her sons both have addiction problems, she denies allegations that theyre significant dealers. Its not true. They are not in no drug dealing ring. They may have purchased drugs from somebody that selling them or got a big batch of it. But my two sons, they are not in no drug ring. Reporter bernice man thinks Police Arrested her sons to try to get to the real dealers. But authorities stand by their assessment that these suspects ran a significant operation. It could be as much as a Million Dollars of street value. Reporter the commonwealths Attorney Says the suspects have not been tied to any Overdose Deaths here in alexandria, but he says the investigation is open and continuing. Three men have been arrested after a series of Gun Store Burglaries in Northern Virginia. Preston holmes, Matthew Jones and Daniel Quarles are all accused of break into stores in chantilly and fredericksburg. They made off with 35 guns in just 45 seconds. Right now only one weapon has been recovered. There is no confirmed connection between these suspects and a gun shop burglary in rockville on march 9th, but police say they are looking into that possibility. Its too early to know whether the explosion that levelled a home in rockville was intentional or an accident. But an autopsy himself and then his dog before that blast.
