Reporter the call came in said she saw a man suffering from a stab wound just behind us here near the statue. Taped off the entire circle there with crime scene tape. We know the man was taken to the hospital with critical injuries, a stab wound near the abdomen area. Police arent saying if theyre looking definitively for a this man stabbed himself but this is early in the investigation so theyre still trying to gather the facts here to understand what happened. This man especially who says the badly injured woman found on the sidewalk is his daughterinlaw. A woman who is in her early 30s. I got in contact with the mother. A fourth vehicle was also involved. A maryland state trooper is recovering after a driver smashed into his car on the beltway. This is the second time this month a driver hit a troopers car on the beltway. Sunday the trooper was in it his car when Christopher Howard slammed into it. Howard was charged with dui.
