One of the biggest trees ive seen coming down on a house in quite a while is in the forest glen area and our Alexandra Limon is there, im really hoping that nobody was injured in this, those pictures are terrify to go. Were in the forest glen neighborhood, not too far from Holy Cross Hospital and take a look at about, these huge oak tree was blown over from the neighbors yard on to this home not far from myrtle road and forest glen. Parts of the attic are exposed. The roof has a lot of damage, tree limbs blocking the doorways, luckily nobody was hurt. One of the homeowners was out in this area when it happened, picking up debris that had already been blown over. Thats why he wasnt inside and he is safe now. I spoke to his wife. Who says she was across the street at that Community Center for Ash Wednesday when she heard the tree come down. Here is what she told us. I was across the street, and i heard a loud noise and i knew it was a tree coming down. And i looked out the window, and i went, my, thats our house. And my husband had already come back from across the street. And i was concerned he was in i came flying across the street and saw him towards the corner and knew in that respect he was safe we had an intense storm, we went on condition red, which means that most units are on call and Emergency Communications for about an hour. Between 2 00 and 3 00, intense number of calls. Reporter now, heres video of other incidents of wind and storm damage around the area. And by morning, the area was saturated with all sorts of equipment and k9 teams. A mobile command post was set up adjacent to the park lawn pool where we could see fbi personnel and coming and going and others venturing into the woods. About 200 yards away from there, behind Single Family homes, investigators had set up a tent with a perimeter protected by crime scene tape. The tent was open on all sides and appeared to be the kind used when police are trying to protect the scene from the rain and wind. At times during the day, an officer could be seen guarding the area. As of this afternoon, police said they had not found any human remains. What was being protected by that tent at this hour is still unclear. One neighbor told us, she heard gunfire in the park sunday night. And last night as well, but was concerned enough, i should say but was not concerned enough to call the poli neighbors told it is earlier today. Victims of immigration crime engagement. We are providing a voice to those who have been ignored by the media and silenced by special interest. Reporter the executive order that called for voice outlined the following details about the office. Now, first, provide victims of crimes committed by removable aliens. In addition to providing those services to victims, the services would also be provided to family members. Especially because at least in those examples we saw last night and certainly in others, the victims were killed, leaving only the family members behind to receive support services. Now, separate from providing services, the office would also study the effects of these crimes committed by criminal aliens and the office would provide quarterly reports on those results. We reached out to ice to get their statement on the development of this office. This is what they did to say. The office would acknowledge and serve the needs of crime victims and their families harmed by criminal activities, perpetrated by immigration violators. The men and women will be guided by a singular straightforward mission to support victims of crime committed by violators through access to information and other resources as needed.
